Just on the basis of a thoughtful conversation I had w Dr Weiss, I can tell that his experience, his frank, direct but gentle manner, and his readiness to suggests several options and flexibility, his amazing listening skills, with have my elderly, hi functioning alcoholic loved one in excellent hands.
Best Psych doc Ever — bar none! Extremely easy to talk with, disarming , self effacing humor eases tense situations. Enormous expertise in medical aspects of addiction but also insightful, humane, kind and engaged. He has literally saved my spouse from lifelong drinking issues and our marriage along with it!
I saw a very caring doctor listens too every thing you say never stop you from talking and willing to help you I would recommending him to everybody thank you doctor
Excellent Doctor. Knows his job
I've been a patient of Dr. Weiss for many years. Discussions have never been one-sided, and I've always been included in the decision-making process. Dr. Weiss listens and offers advice, but he's a psychiatrist, not a therapist. Perhaps the person who wasn't satisfied with Dr. Weiss was really looking for a therapist?
Dr. Weiss is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. Medications have been changed carefully and beneficially. He listens carefully and his comments are to the point. He guides the conversation very effectively and efficiently. I am very well pleased!
Dr. Weiss is a perceptive and patient clinician as well as an astute diagnostician. I would recommend him to anyone who has had less than experienced doctors prescibing their medication.
Dr. Weiss is very kind and will spend enough time with you when needed.
Said he was retired but is accepting new patients. I thought he was listening and that he respected me. Of all docs I had seen, I thought he was one of best. He didn't want to see me any more thought I was hopeless, so he "retired". Retired from seeing me, because my story didn't sound good for psychiatrists. I gave him my ideas for his research and he never knew. Phony.
I keep wishing hopelessly that he had listened. I did not lie. He threw me under the bus. It has been a while since I’ve seen him. He said he was retiring. Obviously not. He had the credentials to destroy me so he did. That’s not help.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
