Tina H. Boylston's Online Review Report Card

We went with Southwest Children's Center after a number of recommendations, we liked Dr. Boylston after reading her profile, however, we have found her dismissive, didn't listen to our concerns, pushed formula over breastfeeding (which is fine if that's what you want but I told her I not wanting to use formula), and rushed check ups to the point I had to call her back to answer some questions (i.e. she never asked if we HAD questions). In addition, she and another doctor miss-diagnosed an early issue with her daughter (again not a major health issue but still). As a newer mom this was upsetting, I understand they have other people to see and our "issues" are relatively minor but I would not recommend this Dr. or the practice as they clearly push fast turn over.

Dr. Boylston has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was born. She has been so attentive, a great listener, practical and knowledgeable throughout the past 6 years. The clinic physician staff and office/nurse staff is hands down the BEST! They exude professionalism. There is always someone to help, whether in the office or over the phone for nurse advice. I'm an RN myself, and I still have parent questions when my daughter is sick! I'm never let down by Dr. Boylston and this wonderful clinic.

Dr. Boylston by far has been the best pediatrician for my family. She cares about the whole child and that makes a difference when treating adolescent children. She is an amazing doctor with service at the forefront.

I was not satisfied with her service. She seems to always be in a rush and too busy to see us. She is always out of her office. We had about 5 appointments there before we decided to switch pediatricians. Out of those 5 appointments she only saw our daughter twice, the other appointments were with a different doctor. We finally transferred to a different pediatrician that is more thorough and more knowledgeable. As a parent, I want to stick to one doctor and be given more accurate information and her office did not cut it.

She's so caring and really gets to know your child!

I have been taking my kids for years to see Dr Boylston. She is just plain wonderful. She listens to them and is spot on diagnosing their complaints. As my kids have been heavily involved in athletics, she lined them up with one of the best sports med docs I have met. Between the both of them I have full confidence that my children are in the best of hands. I am a pediatric nurse, so I am very picky as to who treats my children. Also, on the occasions when she was not available to see my kids, her partners have been terrific as well. I never had an appointment that I was concerned about at Southwest Children's Center. You see Eagles nest with Eagles, for a turkey y'all will have to look elsewhere.

Doctor rushes in answering any questions. We didn’t feel comfortable asking questions because the way we were rushed made it look disrespectful.

Dr. Boylston has been the Doctor for all 3 of our children since birth. She is loved by our family. You will not find a more caring, empathetic, professional and/or intelligent pediatrician. We have moved rather far from her office and are surrounded by pediatric doctor offices but we gladly make the drive to see Dr. Boylston.

Dr. Boylston has been my daughter's doctor since she was 7 months old. We went to several other Dr's before finding Dr. Boylston and from the moment I met her I knew we found the right doctor. She has a wonderful bed side manner and I honestly believe she became a doctor to make a difference, not for the money. We love Dr. Boylston! She has been our kids doctor for 8+ years now.

Dr. Boylston has been absolutely wonderful!!! She is always professional and is so personable! She takes excellent care of our daughter and demonstrates a genuine interest in our family. She always answers all of our questions and provides us with excellent information on our daughter's development and health. She is a wonderful doctor and we feel very lucky to have found her. :) We just can't say enough good things about her!
