I was greeted by name by the receptionist even though it was my first visit. Dr. Stars and his staff were professional, courteous and caring. I found them to be straight forward about the recommendations for my treatment plan and accommodating to my needs for appointments. I was so very pleased and am looking forward to a long relationship with them for my dental care.

Hands down the best dentist. Kind, caring, considerate, and most importantly incredibly skilled. I had a lot of fear and had lost trust in dentists before coming here, but this office completely changed that for me. Now I know I’m somewhere I can truly trust to be treated appropriately and with genuine care. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me and my family.

Dr. Staes and his team are amazing. I have dental trauma and high anxiety, and they are always patient, gentle, and never make me feel rushed or judged. I was the last appointment of the day and they still took their time and made sure I was comfortable. I'm so grateful to have found a dentist who truly cares.

A few months ago I broke my upper front tooth. Since this is a major incident for me, I wanted to find a good Dentist with good ratings. I decided to try Villa Dental with Dr. Emanuel Staes, D.D.S. Dr. Staes has excellent ratings and it’s for a good reason and I’m going to add to his excellent ratings. The professionalism and kindness was apparent just by walking into the building. Everyone I encountered at Villa Dental was very kind and considerate. The ladies at the front desk know how to treat people nicely as well as getting me ready to see the doctor. The young lady who explained what my insurance covered was very kind and answered all of my questions. The dental assistants at Villa Dental are the best. Very caring and considerate as well as knowing how to do their job. The dental assistants made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. Dr. Staes is the best dentist I’ve been to. He took care of my broken tooth and it looks perfect. Dr. Staes made sure I was comfortable, answered all my questions and made certain my tooth looked and felt perfect. Dr. Staes is the best dentist in San Antonio in my opinion. Yesterday (February 25th, 2026) I went to see Dr Staes for a cleaning. I needed to get a deep cleaning since some plaque had gone under my gum line. As usual everyone at Villa Dental was outstanding just like my first visit. After getting my X-rays Dental Hygienist Irene came in and told me about what needs to be done and described in detail the process of getting the plaque from under my gums. Dr. Staes also came in and explained everything that was needed for my dental care. Dr. Staes truly cares about his patients and he is a wonderful dentist. Dental Hygienist Irene is a very professional and kind young lady who did an excellent job working on my teeth. Irene made sure I was pain free and to be totally honest, I didn’t feel any pain. Irene is excellent at her job. She took her time making sure the procedure was done right, she made sure I wasn’t feeling any pain and after the procedure Irene gave me time to ask her any questions and concerns I had after the procedure. I want to thank Dr. Staes and Dental Hygienist Irene along with everyone of the staff members working at Villa Dental for the exceptional care you have given me! If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Villa Dental and Dr. Emanuel Staes, D.D.S.
