Village Medical - Bandera Main's Online Review Report Card

Not happy with Village Medical. Showed up for my scheduled appointment this morning at 4534 Westgate and the office was closed. Called VM to find out if I'd been rescheduled and was simply told the office was closed today. No notice to me. Very unprofessional and inconvenient.

Bernal and Porier have always been so kind to me and helpful addressing all my health concerns. They are amazing.

I loved my visit with the NP Leticia P, however you cannot get any to answer the phone or reply to portal messages.

PA Brian Poliquin is the best. Takes his time to explain things and is very kind and understanding.

Basically this medical org are full of scam artists. I don't say that lightly. Horrible sleezy billing. They flat out lie. They have horrible customer service and even worse doctors. Anything for a $. AVOID this medical practice at all costs.

They don't answer their phones anymore! They state they are short handed but they keep getting bought out. Maybe if they paid more? However if you get a reply from the portal a week or two later or if you see anyone in there it's worth the visit.

My parents and I have been going here for a couple of years now. She listens and refers me to the best. I've lost 100lbs being under her care. Thank you Dr. Bernal and the Village Medical Team.

I've been seeing Sandra at this location for over a year now. She is very special to me. Feels like a friend. Prissy is just ... the best vibes. I genuinely love the entire office. Im ashamed to have forgotten the receptionist's name, but she's very friendly and always quick and helpful.

This is at the Friendswod Tx location: Here is what happened I came here for years and never had a problem with them but on December 21st 2025, i decided stop being a patient with them. I came here with I thought was covid-19 and I made an appointment so I could get checked out, they said the doctor couldn’t see me because my insurance wasn’t the head name of the doctor that I see every time I have an appointment. I’ve changed it twice and brought the number to show I’ve changed it but nothing seems to be working for them. I told them that I was in agonizing pain and that I needed to see a doctor now and that I don’t feel good. They said sorry can’t help you and i literally begged and pleaded, I offered to pay cash but they still said No to me and all they said was to go to the emergency room and I can’t afford that. I decided to go home and find somewhere else to go for help and as I am driving home, my vision gets blurry and I start to have trouble breathing and I decided I needed to go to the hospital. I couldn’t make it because my vision was getting worse and I see an emergency room as I am driving. I pulled in and I was in deep pain and the emergency room was willing to see me immediately. I came back positive for the flu and my temperature was almost 103, the doctors we’re considering having me transferred to the hospital to be admitted for more further treatment, the doctor sent me home feeling confident that I could beat the virus 🦠 and I made a full recovery after a few days. That’s why I am not coming back to this clinic anymore, they failed to help me and give me medical attention and almost made me crash my car, due to the blurry vision and almost put me in the hospital. Thanks to their stupidity. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic at Friendswood Tx.
