List of Westover Hills Pediatric Dentistry's Reviews
I recently took my child to this pediatric dentistry office, and overall it was a very positive experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and kid-friendly. The waiting area was clean, colorful, and stocked with toys and books that helped keep my child relaxed before the appointment. The staff were incredibly patient and kind. They took the time to explain each step of the process in a way my child could understand, which really helped ease any anxiety. The dentist was gentle, professional, and clearly experienced in working with children. I appreciated how they checked in frequently to make sure my child was comfortable. The appointment itself was efficient without feeling rushed. The hygienist did a thorough cleaning while keeping things light and encouraging, and the dentist gave helpful feedback about brushing habits and dental care at home. One small area for improvement would be the wait time—we did have to wait a bit past our scheduled appointment. However, the quality of care and the positive experience made up for it. Overall, I would highly recommend this office to any parent looking for a caring and child-focused dental practice. It made what could have been a stressful visit feel easy and even enjoyable for my child.
My boys love Westover Hills Pediatric Dentistry! They get excited to go because the office is so fun and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Brittany, Trinity, and Dr. Walling — they’re always so kind, patient, and ready to answer any questions I have about my boys. Truly the best team and such a great place for kids!

Upon our visit they were given both of my daughters insurance information for her coverage. Our daughter is nonverbal level 3 autistic and we were referred here because we were told that they were qualified to work with special needs children. Upon each visit that we had with our consultations they were provided with her Medicaid as well as the dental that's attached to Blue Cross and Blue shield. My wife was with me also as a witness that they were provided both sets of information for billing on the insurance. And discussing with the doctor we clearly had said that we do not want to do the metal implants and that we wanted the natural looking implant teeth. We had the verbal discussions as well as the discussions at the front. We were told that the metal teeth were the only ones that are covered by the Medicaid billing at 100% And if we wanted the other teeth were going to have to come out of pocket. So upon a trip back after we had the funds my wife walked in and she paid thinking that we were paying on the natural looking teeth for our daughter because again Medicaid covered at 100% the metal teeth. Well lo and behold they went ahead and had us pay out of pocket for something that Medicaid would have covered and they did the install of the metal teeth. When we follow it up with our normal dentist who referred us over to there he noticed that the procedure was done incorrectly and that there were some inclusions. So when we went to do a follow-up they refused to look at anything and refuse to take any accountability on it even though they are literally the only other dentist that my daughter has ever seen that has had any of this work done with. When they called us asking for money I said you're not going to get any money because what you did is you installed the metal teeth when you had us pay out of pocket for the ones that are supposed to be natural so you actually owe us a refund and extremely upset at this point. Well the gal in the office says that they didn't process her medicate information and I never gave it to him. Calls me a liar..... Well, let's see ...I'm a Knight of Columbus, I'm a Shriner, I'm a past master of my blue Lodge as well as an endowed member with Cibolo Lodge, I'm a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, as well as a handful of other nonprofits and 501c3s I've assisted with my entire life. I don't think I'm going to lie about something miniscule that would have been cleared up three or four conversations previously before we even got to this point about telling me that Medicaid wasn't going to cover the natural looking teeth that's why we came out of pocket. The story that these people continue to lie about doesn't make sense. So they were given her Medicaid information and they were supposed to issue a refund at that point. Fast forward another year and a half later and they're trying to call me because I again they were failing to process the Medicaid information or issue the refund that we are owed and are doubling down on the fact of insulting me and my wife and denying that we've had multiple conversations before we even trusted this office with our daughter's health care about not wanting the metal teeth and wanting the natural looking teeth. Our daughter is a special needs child we don't need her looking any more different than the other children in the classroom. It's disgusting how they have treated my daughter and it's beyond unprofessional how they've handled billing when they self admitted that the Medicaid information has been updated with them but they won't process it because they do not want to issue a refund and they would rather send the $114 to collection. So for their $114 for a collection I am going to sue this practice for slander and defamation of character as well as breach of contract because the verbal agreement that we had and shook hands on in the office before they changed the contract.
Love the environment & the friendly workers their!
I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had today! We just relocated from the West Coast and were so lucky to find Dr. Walling and her team. We are grateful they could accommodate us on short notice for our 5-year-old son's very first dental procedure, which required sedation. The entire process, from start to finish, was wonderful. The customer service is truly top-notch, and the staff is so kind and attentive. Our dental assistant, Crystal, was a true gem. She was so patient with my son and took the time to explain everything to him, which made his first dental procedure a calm and comfortable experience. We are so grateful for the amazing care they provided. Thank you, Dr. Walling and team, for being such a blessing to our family!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
