I feel like the focus is mainly on referring patients to specialists and collecting co-pays. The appointments feel rushed, often lasting only 4 to 5 minutes, and payment is quickly processed without much actual consultation. It doesn't seem like real primary care since a lot of your concerns are just passed on to specialists. Then, you end up paying again for the doctor to review what the specialist has already said. It doesn’t feel like a comprehensive or personalized approach to care.

My wife and I had a concierge doctor prior to moving to San Antonio and finding Dr Wiesenthal. I was very hesitant to make the switch but I’m so glad that we did it! We have found Dr Wiesenthal’s level of expertise and responsiveness to exceed even our previous experience! In fact, several members of my family and friends are her patients and they are all equally pleased. If you are in the market for a PCP, look no further!

Dr. Alexis Wiesenthal is truly one of a kind. She’s been my doctor for awhile now, and really cares about her patients. I recently got covid and really needed the infusion due to my health conditions. Dr. Wiesenthal went above and beyond, helping me get an appointment even though they’re limited! I am forever grateful for her heart for people, knowledge for medicine and beautiful soul. Love her!

I just started seeing Dr. Wiesenthal as my internist. I have only had the opportunity to see her via telehealth, since our Dr./ Patient relationship started during COVID. She's been really terrific as a diagnostician and as a caregiver. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and perhaps most importantly, she's fast--during a recent illness, she diagnosed prescribed and followed up with me within 24 hours. Amazing in this day of disconnected medicine. I am happy to have found her and could not recommend her more highly.

I've just started seeing Dr. Wiesenthal as my internist. I have not yet had a face to face meeting with her, but my telehealth interactions with her have been excellent. She is an excellent diagnostician and caregiver. She's knowledgeable and thoughtful, and she takes her time. During a recent illness, she diagnosed me quickly and got a prescription to me right away. That level of responsiveness and care is rare today, and I feel lucky to have found it.

I am so grateful my boss recommended Dr. Wiesenthal to me for my primary care doctor. Since I turned 40, I just wanted to get a good baseline even though I've never had any major health issues. I feel great about taking care of my health--she had great recommendations for me. I am now recommending her to my friends and family, too. Extremely efficient office and very smart doc. 5 stars!

Dr. Alexis Wiesenthal has been my primary care doctor since 2009. I recommend her to my family, friends, coworkers, and people from my church and I know I can trust they will receive the best care with her. She is extremely bright and a great listener and diagnostician. I really like how she is offering telehealth right now as I am undergoing chemo treatments and can see her from wherever I am, whether we have our visit from my home or while I’m getting my infusion. She has saved my life multiple times and I am grateful to have her as my doctor.
