Alberto Duran's Online Review Report Card

Right from entering the office i was greeted by a friendly welcoming receptionist and staff. I was seen by Dr. Ballesteros and mentioned all the previous concerns I had regarding my previous pregnancies and he was able to answer all of my questions and put me at ease. So far I’m glad I found this office and looking forward to the same wonderful experience and staff in future visits.

Worst place ever, I got a yeast infection from here & the doctor has bad service. She was rude 👎😤

I first went 13 years ago for the birth of my first child and everything was great. I always got to see Dr. Rodriguez and he was always attentive and kind. After that I had three more children and everytime the service got worse. The Doctor wasnt as kind and when I did get to see him it was for max 5 minutes. Staff has always been rude but the Doctors always made up for it, however my last pregnancy five years ago was the worst experience to date. I never saw the Doctors just the nurse practitioner and in the end a female Doctor operated me and left me very hurt for a long time. A relative had the same lady operate her and was left in the same conditions nothing like my previous c sections and in my relatives case it was her first c-section.

Very good Dr the Dr is really nice he answers all my questions and i like that he goes on detail when he did my ultrasound and since my pregnancy was high risk they would do me an ultrasound on every visit i had and they would treat my pregnancy verry serious not like other Dr that they don't care about their patients pregnancy

Front staff was extremely rude. Several times they had miscommunication issues within themselves that left me fumbling back and forth. Had trouble working with them to get my order paperwork to go to the hospital. I had an issue at pharr location and transferred to san juan to deal directly with dr duran so that he would be the one delivering my baby. I called several times to confirm if dr duran would be there to deliver and they confirmed he would. The day i was at the hospital he didnt answer so they had to call another doctor whom i had never met and had no choice to have him deliver my baby. Highly disatisfied with these offices. Nothing but headaches the entire pregnancy.

Really nice place , went there with all my 4 babies , love the attention the doctors and nurses gived me!

Nurses and Staff are polite and very nice. Waiting time is long though, the actual doc visit takes about less than half of the half time your waiting to be seen. They do not induce the patient even though its your decision unless your 39 weeks or more. I love that they give out constent sonograms of your baby. But they forget to send out refills or medications to the pharmacys at times. other than that ive had an overall good encounter with them there at Dr. Durans office in San Juan, TX.

Horrible labor experience. I begged for a c section during my delivery at the hospital and dr duran said no need for one, everything was normal for a natural birth. however, my baby got stuck and he used the vacuum to pull him out and now my baby is permanently disabled with erbs palsy caused at birth!! doctor didnt even explained what had happened to her.. had to look it up on my own. now i am a depressed first time mom with a disabled baby.
