Take it from me, you can trust the people at Brookdale to give your loved one the care they need and deserve. Led by Clay King, the staff at Brookdale can be counted on. Just one example is Geraldine Taylor. Geraldine heads up the front-line people who directly care for the residents. Her people administer prescription drugs, make sure all is well with the residents with frequent visits, provide bathing as necessary, just to name a few things. I often meet with Geraldine, in person or phone, to keep up with how my mother's well being. She is always on top of my mother's physical and mental health. It is so comforting to know that Grenadine and her people are always available to make sure my mother's needs are met. You can trust the staff as they are top-flight people who are committed to caring for their residents. I think of them as an extended part of my family.

All the Brookdale North Staff have a tremendous job of making my wife and me (aliens from the state of Missouri) comfortable and welcome members of the Brookdale North extended family. Their friendliness, efficiency, and patience with the elderly is well worth mentioning.

Brookdale North San Marcos is a wonderful place. My mother hasn’t been this happy in over 2 years. She finds a purpose in life for living and is so happy. Clay and his staff have been excellent caretakers of my step-dad and mom since they arrived there about 5 years ago! They have also done an excellent job during this COVID era of remembering to practice safety first. My step-dad was recently hospitalized (non-COVID) and my mom has dementia, and I live out of town, and the Brookdale van was in the shop. Clay, the executive director personally took my mom to see my step-dad in the hospital when no one else was available. My step-dad died that night, and because of Clay's extra effort, my mom was able to be with him on the day he passed-on. In addition, the facility itself is nice, and the dining room has an awesome country view!
