List of Carenow Urgent Care's Reviews
Compassionate. Professional. Efficient. Couldn’t ask for more. Top notch team!
Literally everyone there is insanely disrespectful from the second I walk in to when I call for lab results, every single person Ive talked to is so rude and passive aggressive
Everyone I met there was super friendly and made me feel welcome! I was treated fast and efficiently and they were thorough with their work! Nurse Mary was my favorite, as she was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time! Mary also made sure that I understood everything before I left the clinic and I really appreciated that!
Staff were all friendly and professional, and pricing was decent. Will definitely be back for my next exam!
The staff was awesome.
Everything went smooth and was only met with kindness by all staff!
I'm in complete disbelief. I shouldn't be though, because considering some of the other reviews this seems to be a common issue. I've never left a negative review for a business because I own two businesses myself and realize just how much these reviews can affect them. However, the lack of compassion and level of compassion from Fran at the front desk was so disheartening that I felt compelled. My daughter is a college student. She suffers from debilitating migraines. She had done everything her neurologist in San Antonio had suggested and she was still suffering horribly, so she suggested for her to go to the ER. I suggested for her to go to CareNow instead of a true ER because I've always taken her to the minor ER here and have always had a positive response. She drove herself and threw up on the way. I registered her online and as soon as my daughter checked in she was told she would have a payment of $100. She doesn't know too much about the insurance, except for the fact that our deductible has been met already. The front desks is doing their job, I completely understand. Considering my daughter was in so much pain, I said can I speak to the front desk please. Fran said "No, I will not speak to her because you are over 18 yrs of age" I told my daughter what to convey. That the family deductible had been met 3 months prior and it supersedes the individual deductible. She started to become very agitated and said are you going to make the payment or not. Considering how my daughter was feeling, and the fact that Fran refused to even speak to me, I told my daughter I would call the office directly. I spoke to someone very kind in the back office, I explained my situation. She said she understood but that they are trained to only check the individual deductible and that's their policy. I said ok no worries, I understand, I'll make the $100 payment and get a refund once it's file. She transferred me to Fran, she picked up the phone and said the payment is $293 and change, how are you making the payment? I said, you told my daughter it was $100. She said "listen, are you gonna make the payment or not? I just take the payment. I'm not dealing with anything else" I responded " I'm just confused because just 2 mins ago you said $100 and now it's almost $100 more. She said "because your BCBS. Are you gonna make the payment? I asked if I could speak with her manager. She said my manager isn't here. I asked for the name and she said Bobby. Then she said "I don't have time for this. I'm hanging up" At that point I just asked my daughter to leave. I'm still waiting for the corporate office to call me back. When people come there, they are already at their lowest so to treat someone with the lack of compassion she did my daughter and lack of professionalism she treated me with, this is NOT the kind of person who should be greeting ill patients.
Very friendly and kind
Came in here on Thursday morning 9/14/2023 at 8:00 A.M. Lady at the front working at the time was extremely rude and condescending. Terrible attitude, never coming back here again.
Honestly the worst healthcare I've ever experienced. The nurse/PA (I think her name was Mary) who took my initial vitals and screening questions was downright condescending and rude. The receptionists were also not very welcoming or nice. Putting one star because Dr. Chad took the time to actually understand why I was there and talked me through everything. Will not ever be back to a Care Now. Update: Now i've been told there was a lab error and I can't even receive a refund. Meaning they wasted my time AND $100. For the love of all things holy take you and your family elsewhere. Second update: The "Lab error" was in fact DR. CHAD USING THE WRONG SWABS FOR THE TESTS HE "PROVIDED." This place then had the NERVE to charge me another 141 DOLLARS?? Meaning I am now paying $241 to be talked down upon, made to go through extremely uncomfortable tests, and learn they can't even train their doctors to perform tests correctly?? Filing a claim with the state now. Save yourselves time and money and go anywhere else. Update: I had a very serious infection in my kidney. This could've been easily prevented by my health being taken seriously. Never EVER will go to an urgent care/care now again and the care providers and management at this place should be seriously evaluated for how they treat patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
