List of Dr. Joy Aden's Reviews
Dr. Joy Aden is the one of the most caring and compassionate physicians. She’s the Best!
The best ob/gyn ive ever experienced. Very professional, attentive, and honest! I love how she takes the time to get to know her patients, and am extremely thankful for the conversations and talks about "life". She gives the best advice, professional and personal. I would trust my daughter in her care, when she comes of age.
Ive been seeing Dr. Aden for 7yrs, if not longer. She has been very professional, open, honest, and relatable. Shes always listened to my corncerns, and have given great advice, both professional and personal. Going to the dr had been very stressful in my past (with other medical professionals) however im always at ease and treated with compassion with Dr. Aden. I highly recommend her for your ob/gyn needs.
Dr. Aden is the BEST
My visit was very pleasant and the staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Aden was kind and handled me with care.
Dr. Aden is always attentive and listens to any questions/concerns I may have. I would highly recommend her.
Office visits went well with Dr. Ayden until I saw two other doctors when she was not present. One doctor told me I was measuring a little bigger than normal estimating that I may be delivering a 8/9 pound baby. When I asked Dr. Ayden is she thought the same she estimated a 6/7 pound baby. 25 hours of labor and I delivered almost a 9 pound baby that was obviously too big for my birth canal that she had to use the vacuum. To put icing on the cake I requested for us to wait at least 5 minutes before the cord got cut but she over took me on it and had us to cut the cord on her time. Lastly, I stayed in the hospital a total of 3 nights and not once did she come and check on me, her partner discharged me from the hospital. I realize that she has other patients and has her own life; however, 5 minutes to check on your patient would have made such a difference because I felt as though I was just another number. If you ever stop loving what you do then you need to take a break to reflect and see why you started the career in the first place. We are human, I forgive her but, she will never deliver another child of mine's ever. #WhenYouKnowBetterYouDoBetter
I've been going for about two years and usually had good customer service until today. I read some other reviews and there were some where she was nice and then others where she was rude. She made me feel like I was stupid and had a serious attitude problem. She kept cutting me off and was very cold. I am currently searching for another doctor.......... I will not return to her inappropriate behavior
Dr. Aden delivered my 3rd/last child. I chose her, as Dr.Sadler (who I respected), referred me. Dr. Aden is condescending, has poor bedside manner, does not respect appointment/wait times, discusses personal life more than questions regarding your pregnancy. During my c-section she didn't speak to me once. I had my tubes tied and she left the OR without a word to me about the procedure or my baby. Cold. Her co-workers were warmer during the hospital followup than she. Choose another Dr.
I saw Dr. Aden through most of my last pregnancy; from my discussions with her, however, this review can apply to the whole practice. As I began my final trimester, I requested that she follow evidenced-based medical practice by monitoring me intermittently during labor if the birth was progressing normally. She suggested that this would cause danger to the baby (statistically, there are better outcomes with intermittent monitoring, but she didn't seem familiar with research on the subject -- although my husband, who is a physician, was able to find it in medical archives very readily), and said, "There's nothing worse than handing a mother a dead baby." When I pressed the issue, she said, "Since I'm a doctor, I'm going to use medical solutions to problems [although a normal birth is not a problem per se -- my interjection], and I'll do whatever I think is best." Clearly, my needs were less important than her plan -- which would have likely included much more medical intervention than would be necessary in a healthy, normal birth. I chose to switch providers to the Lone Star Nurse Midwives, who gave me compassionate care before, during, and after birth, and I gave birth to my daughter several months later in a safe, supportive environment. Northeast OB/Gyn will work just fine for you if you prefer to put yourself entirely in the hands of your doctor, who can do no wrong, but if you prefer to be a partner in your medical care, you will want to look elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
