List of Alyson Kirchner's Reviews
I was not too happy I’ve been trying to find a obgyn to figure out what is going on with my body and these doctors here in seguin just seem like that don’t care and shrugged their shoulders just because I’m young and pregnant. I am not stupid I know what is going on with my body and I know what I am feeling in mybody. They tried to tell me I have this going on with my belly but if that was the case then why am I still growing and feeling kicks .
I am new to the area and had an unexpected ER visit prior so I found a local OB, Dr. Kirchner. First time visit: wait time wasn’t bad at all. I did have to fill out all your first time patient pprwrk but that was expected. Staff was very warm and friendly. Dr. Kirchner was direct, precise and efficient. She even pointed out some discrepancies in my prior ER discharge pprwrk that I had previously noticed as well. Immediately scheduled further various testing, some was done there right then and like I said, precise, direct and efficient. Exactly what you want your Gyno to be. I read some reviews that’s she’s I guess you could say “direct” but she’s a DR it’s her job and she’s a human being taking care of a lot of people. So far so good and I’m glad I found her here in Seguin. I’ll update after all my testing and follow up but so far no complaints and I’d recommend her. Also side note: completely irrelevant but there was nice art in my appt room, the office girls were nice and they had candy lol all in all I was comfortable and felt like I was taken care of.
I had some surgery done last month and Dr. Kirchner was so kind and caring. She listens to you and is very reassuring and compassionate. I can't say enough of the treatment I received at hospital and as a patient of Dr. Kirchner. 5 Stars are not enough and I would give more if I could. I highly recommend Dr. Kirchner and her practice to you. She is the best I promise you !
Everybody here is very friendly, and nothing about this review is personal. However, the hour wait time for a two minute visit with Dr. Kirchner is frustrating, especially when you've had ongoing problems and it feels like you're not being taken seriously.
I can’t even begin where to start all I’m going to say is I don’t recommend this OB ( Dr. Alyson kirchner). My ob is actually Dr. Burrus but apparently he has been out of the office this month. My last appointment and current one both have waited over an hour to been seen by this lady and my scheduled time today was at 8:15, here I sit and it’s already almost 930 still waiting to be seen. Was treated last time for a UTI which I am still not feeling well 2 weeks later! I feel as if I had seen my normal doctor ( Dr. Burrus) I wouldn’t be sitting here writing this review cause I am never the one to complain or even write reviews but due to being a high risk patient and being 2 months away from my due date this really pisses me off!! 🤬😡😡😡‼️
Terrible experience! I was seen as a new patient and I was 30 mins earlier and got called in an hour later and she literally spent 2 MINUTES in the room with me after I told her I’ve been having a problem for 7 months. She treated me as if I had a BV and turns out I didn’t have that. I left devastated and felt absolutely horrible that she didn’t actually take the time or even tried to look Into what was going on. She was speaking to me as she was walking to the door like if she was in a rush ready to get out the room. I called for another appointment and she did the exact same thing after I told her that if it wasn’t a BV then what could it be? She shrugged her shoulders and basically told me to figure it out on my own on what was causing this..... after I was continuously telling her that I’ve been having this problem for 7 months and there is something wrong. She once again was in a rush and left the room in 2 minutes. I left once again devastated and hopeless that I didn’t get the help that I needed . I do not recommend this OBGYN.
Dr. Kirchner is a great person I've been to see her in the past and now
I don't see what everyone rants on and on about Dr Alyson Kirchner. Not impressed. Was seen few weeks ago as a new patient and everyone is right on point she spends 3mins with you and is VERY rushed . Nothing was explained to me at all about how they do things in their office . I can not reccomend this OBGYN.
Horrible experience with my second pregnancy. I felt forced into my induction. Scare tactics. I just asked her to wait till I was 38 weeks, no. She scheduled it, even though i shared worries and not comfortable with it. She induced me at 37 weeks because my "blood sugars were out of control" and "the weight of my baby was close to 10lbs."My sugars were under 130. (Control) was seeing another dr as well because my blood sugars dr azula I believe. He was with her as well, just because "no point in baby staying in there longer, she fulling developed." Than Hospital Day when she tried to break my water at 1cm, my mother(RN 25years) and I argued with her to wait. She compared me to a car and said "you dont tell a mechanic you can fix, but not this YOUR BABY WILL DIE IF WE DONT GET HER OUT". Heart beats was normal, no sign of distress. My mother made a comment they dont teach yall how to deliver and wait for natural birth anymore. Dr. Kirchner knew I wanted a natural birth and was afraid of having a csection. Dont come here if you what that. It just a business and her schedule. In the end, my baby was 5lb 12 oz. Than stop breathing 2 weeks later. Children's hospital of San Antonio said it HAPPENS TO PREMATURE BABIES! Worse experience gynecologist ever.Any mother want a warm, natural, caring doctor for their most precious moment of there life. DONT COME HEREAlso other MOTHER'S have reach out to me asking if I was one of her victims as well. Which is shocking and sad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
