Having been under the care of the US Military for 26 years, and the VA for the last 23 years (which has been quite good), I received care from Dr Beste for an emergency gall bladder removal in August 2021. She is an exceptionally talented and caring Physician. Prior to the surgery, she ensured that I understood what procedures were about to occur, answered my questions, and explained that exceptional care would be applied to make sure that the procedure would be as painless as possible. (It was.) During this emergency hospital visit, Dr, Beste called my wife, explained the issues involved, and went out of her way to answer my wife's questions and resolve her concerns. After surgery, both in the recovery room and back in the main hospital room, Dr. Beste made bedside visits to assess my progress and my pain level. She ensured that adequate pain medication was available incase I needed it and patiently answered questions from myself and, later, my wife. She has an excellent bedside m

She has an excellent bedside manner, demonstrates excellent surgical skills, and made the visit to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center a lot more tolerable than it could have been.

Do you have to even give a star? Would not recommend to anyone. Allowed an appendix to rupture do to essentially not wanting to be bothered at the time. Her negligence lead to multiple issues and an extended hospital stay. What didn’t have to be life threatening quickly became so because of her lack of competence

Incompetent!!! She is a hazard to your health!! Don’t tell me an appendicitis is not considered an emergency and you allow the patient to go all night and it ruptured- CT noted it still intact. Ended up with a NG tube and unable to eat x8 days. This is ridiculous!! This is a routine procedure for a surgeon and was not handled to this capacity. It shows a lot any time her name is mentioned and everyone I know has a horror story to share!!

Dr. Beste was recommended by my primary care physician to fix a screwed up incision, went to see her and she has no clue how to fix it or what she is talking about. She needs to learn anatomy 101. She is one of the worst doctors in Seguin. Definitely would not recommend her to cut a steak open.

I went in with an infected gallbladder. She made sure I got plenty meds to ease the pain. I had surgery at 10 am the next day. It was 45min and went without a problem. She was great.

I recently had my gallbladder removed. Dr. Beste explained everything to me and was very kind and patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Beste for this this type of procedure. She's the best!

Dr Betstie is such a great surgeon. She takes her time and explains every detail of your health issues. She is thourough in her work. She is very kind and caring.

Dr. Beste is an amazing surgeon! I had a great experience. She is very thorough! She told me everything I needed to know about my surgery and answered all of my many questions. I loved her bedside manners, she wasn’t mono toned she actually talked to you like you mattered! I couldn’t be more thankful for how smooth my surgery/recovery went and how lucky I was to have a surgeon like her. I definitely recommend her to anyone!
