List of White G. Steven's Reviews
My daughter saw Dr. White back in September of 2021 for an ankle sprain. It took almost a month for me to hear back from his office with MRI results (he was out of town.) When I finally contacted his office they had a nurse call me back with results. I mentioned my daughter still having the same issues and had not improved with the recommendations Dr. White had made. The nurse stated she would talk to the doctor. I received a call later that day from the receptionist to schedule a follow-up appointment in 4 weeks. After requesting the MRI report from his office I saw that she did have 3 injured ligaments, 2 of which were torn. The notes on the MRI were vague. I recently requested a disc copy of her MRI from the hospital and realized his office only sent me the first page of her report. They failed to scan the second page which stated one of her ligaments was a possible complete tear. I have yet to hear from Dr. White with a plan of action for my daughter's injury.

Dr. White has the bedside manner of a saint. He is very receptive, informational, and empathetic. I thought highly of the fact that he elucidated everything in layman's terms. Dr. White came highly recommended, and I would now, in turn, refer him to my friends and family.
I had complete hip replacement and Dr. G Steven done the surgery. I was so pleasedon't with the surgery he had performed on me. I'm still seeing Dr for follow up and in the future I have any more surgeries I will definitely go to him. Thank you Fr. G Steven White.
As a surgeon, he is first-rate. He fixed my fractured leg and did an excellent job, even according to another orthopedic surgeon that I consulted. I found I had a difficult time communicating with him. He came across as a bit impatient, even a little arrogant, at times. That's why I visited another surgeon...I had so many questions I wanted answered, and I actually reached the point where I hesitated to ask him anything. You can safely trust him to repair you, but don't expect a genial bedside manner.
While I'm sure Dr. White is a very fine surgeon, his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. He has a way of making one feel as though a lack of healing or progress is the fault of the patient, and he seems to have a low opinion of rehabilitation outside the patient's own efforts. His rather cavalier attitude nearly reduced me to tears during several office visits. Again, a fine surgeon, but a little empathy would improve the patient experience.
Dr. White is an excellent doctor who listens to your concerns about your treatment. All his staff is also very professional and friendly. If you need an orthopedic doctor recommend Dr.White 100%.
He is rude and arrogant. He is terrible to the hospital staff and is proud of it. He should be ashamed.
Ive now had two surgeries with Dr. White, both went extremely well and as he described. recovery was faster than he said it would be. His whole office staff is extremely caring and willing to work with you.
Amazing doc. He provides good information, you know you're in the right hands. Dr. White has replaced shoulders on both sides of my mother in law (85) and done my husband's shoulder, and both hands with carpal tunnel. He is now treating a shoulder tear for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
