I had an appointment with the PA, she was not able to complete requested procedure. Dr. Lana allowed me to pay$175.00, over and above my copayment (office visit fee) and my insurance payment, to remove several blemishes. She hurried thru the procedure. The majority of the blemishes healed fine. However, 3 did not heal. I called after several days and requested that I be allowed to pay a new office visit and that the Dr. treat the 3 blemishes again. The office nurse said I would also need to pay the $175.00, again. Not very professional! Norman Goodwin 12/16/2022

Let me make this short and sweet. Unless you are having cosmetic surgery, don't waste your time or your money. Her only interest in dermatology is to collect money for cosmetic surgery. If you go in for any other problem, she will listen, look at you, then tell you it is nothing and rush you out. I've been on both sides, so I know.

I'll make this short and sweet. Unless you are going in for cosmetic surgery, don't waste your time or money. She has no interest in anything except making money through her cosmetic surgery business. She will rush you through and tell you whatever problem you think you have is nothing.

Felt like I was getting the bums rush. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Removed a place on my face for a biopsy and didn't explain what she was doing, or ask if I had any concerns. She shaved it off and said "your done" and walked out. Will definately go to another dermatologist if I have any other skin issues.

She did a wonderful job. She took care a growth on my lip with just one visit. She is very patient during the virtual preliminary evaluation.

How can a problem with the skin not be a skin problem? I have a cyst within the skin and this doctor refers me to an ENT. The ENT then tells me its a skin problem. What a waste of time!!

Dr Hawayek spent 5 minutes with us, she didn’t address all of my concerns, and she wasn’t very thorough. The appointment itself was very rushed and she didn’t give us the patient summary either. She was very rude when speaking to me, and she also isn’ humble or compassionate. I will never go back or recommend her.
