Reviewed On Vitals
I had the good fortune to see Dr. Nayeb-Hashemi after 3 previous opthmalogists over 6 months time had failed to correct my chronic eye irritations, resulting in moderate-severe dry eye disease. He diagnosed my blocked meibomian ducts on my initial visit, recommending medications & ultimately Lipiflow procedure as a possible source of help. Unfortunately for me, Dr. Nayeli-Hashemi transferred back to Texas area from Illinois last summer, & I was referred to someone else. Four opthamologists later I finally got the referral for that duct procedure, recommended 7 months earlier. Unfortunately my ducts had so deteriorated from the prolonged blockages over time that it was not successful. I am confident that earlier treatment would have been a major factor in helping my outcome. Texas is very fortunate to have him back.....I have missed his expertise, & truly caring demeanor in trying to understand my unusual case.
