If I could leave 0 stars I would, I don’t know who Katie is, but she sure does need to learn how to talk to patients over the phone and maybe be a little more polite

After spending YEARS attempting to find the correct prescriptions for my monovision contacts, I was diagnosed with cataracts. I had both eyes done within a year by Dr. Long, again using the monovision configuration. My activities of daily living have vastly improved as I no longer need contacts and/or reading glasses (I needed a combination of both just to read my cell phone). Dr. Long and his staff are professional and caring; several times working to accommodate my schedule utilizing their two office locations in Sherman and Prosper. I have told many friends and co-workers about Dr. Long and the "miracle" of cataract surgery done right!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Long (and his entire staff). Two and a half years ago, I had cataract surgery in both eyes. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. This week I went in with severely impaired vision that had bothered me for months. After lots of testing, it was determined that a film had developed behind one implanted lens. It didn’t take Dr. Long ten minutes, with laser, to clear that film and return my excellent sight. I couldn’t believe it! You can’t ask for better than that! May 2022

Dr. Long did cataract surgery on both eyes. He over refracted both of them to an extreme. Every time I would go back in, he would make a stupid blonde joke and do PRK on my eyes. He did so much PRK ON MY EYES, the cornea isn’t just flat, causing me distortion. My cornea’s are actually concaved. Causing severe light sensitivity, headaches, I haven’t driven in a yrs time. My vision is so bad, I can’t even wear glasses. I’m now seeing a cornea specialist, I am being put in SCLERA contacts to fake a normal cornea. These contacts run 2000.00 an eye. My opinion is not just don’t trust this Dr. but RUN FAR AND FAST!!

This Dr is the best! After several months of being misdiagnosed I went to Dr Long who took one look at me and knew exactly what was wrong. He got the ball rolling on tests, and other appointments with other specialist and am now on the road to recovery. He also has a very warm and caring staff. You are in the right hands with this Dr!

Just wanted to say I was elated about my successful cataract surgery! Dr Long is absolutely genuine, very personable and caring! It’s been very rare in my experiences with doctors to have these traits so my experience with him is very much appreciated! And a very friendly staff as well! Excessive wait. Arrived 15 min prior to appointment time only to have to wait over an hour to see the doctor. Make sure you don't plan anything else on the day of your appointment.

Dr. Long performed cataract surgery on my 85 year-old mother. The manner in which he deals with geriatric clients is extremely patient and caring, with a great deal of humor. At one point, my mom went in for a checkup and mentioned that she was having problems with her ear. He had one of his staff call her general practitioner, who immediately got her in to checkout the problem. In terms of his practice, they are organized and efficient. His staff gets you in and out quickly...in a good way!

Always have a wonderful time at my appointments. Staff is friendly and helpful.
