This is a bad company to work for. Corporate took over what used to be family owned. Now all they care about is number of patients coming in.They used to claim that its not a revolving door but their actions prove otherwise.They used to have solid staff that had solid years of recovery under their belt. Now they dont really care. As long as they hire bodies and hopefully get them to not quit then all is well. Thats why the turn over rate is so high. No incentives to hire or keep their workers. Only appreciation they show is once in a while corporate suit will show up and order bbq or pizza for everyone. Awkward meeting. The work “culture” sounds good framed on the wall but working there you will quickly realize its the complete opposite of all those fancy words! They have lost some solid staff. They always claim they have a “budget” or dont have money for various things but wont make anyones salary public! I wonder why. At the end of the day its the patients that suffer. Recovery is about getting honest. You cant help someone else when your own house aint in order!Good luck!

My time at Origins in Texas was second to none. Even on the toughest days the entire staff were very uplifting and encouraging throughout the whole process. They just had a way of making something that seemed so difficult at first into a very enjoyable and spiritual experience. I can’t say enough about this very special time with these fine folks to explain the transformation they helped me with or how truly grateful I am for each and every one of them. Thanks so much! I love you all!

Origins was the best decision of my life. The Leadership staff, RAs, counselors, etc. were very welcoming and really passionate about their jobs. A true blessing to be apart of such a great community!

They are not about getting you sober it’s much more than that. They show you a way to live your life to take life on life’s terms. They gave me a path to navigate the world once I graduated. I have support from Alumni staff and Alumni! No way to know how much it helped me till I was willing to face my fears. It’s not a cure but it is FREEDOM PEACE HONOR and a LIFE I can LIVE an LOVE!!!!!

I cannot tell everyone how much this place saved my life. Straight from the solutions laid out in the Big Book. Line by line, word by word. Just what I needed. Joe and Newell and Ira and Joshua and ALL THE STAFF, are part of my family. This is serious business and they are serious about helping people. I can’t recommend this place enough. I am eternally grateful for my experience. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

In August of 2012 I arrived at Origins in South Padre Island a physically, mentally, spiritually broken, and defeated man. I had a profound experience as result of simply following the guidance of the treatment team , and following through with whatever was suggested of me. I will be forever grateful to Origins for helping safe my life.

I was very impressed with the exceptional support and help my husband received during his stay there. It was one of the best decisions we made for him to go to your facilities. He is a totally a different person and he is ready to challenge himself to remain sober. I would highly recommend Origen Recovery at SPI .
