List of Robert Bayless's Reviews
Both of my knees had deteriorated badly from arthritis. I was referred to Dr. Bayless for total knee replacement. Scheduling an appointment at Precision Orthopedics in Irving was easy. Dr. Bayless explained the problems with my knees very clearly using x-rays. Both knees were replaced as day surgery (four weeks apart), I was up and walking immediately after surgery, went home the same day, completed two weeks of in-home physical therapy, the bandages came off, and after some additional healing and exercise both knees feel as good as new. Total knee replacement is still major surgery but I can’t imagine it being any easier than this. Yes, there is some pain and swelling involved for a week or so, but it’s all very manageable with medication. Thank you to Dr. Bayless, his assistant, Dr. Steve, and the entire staff at Precision Orthopedics.
Dr. Bayless did total knee replacement surgery on both of my knees. It was easy to get appointments and he explained the knee problems and the surgery very well. Both knees were replaced as outpatient day surgeries, I was up and walking immediately after surgery, completed two weeks of in-home physical therapy, the bandages came off, and after some additional healing and exercise I was done and my knees feel almost as good as new. Knee replacement is still major surgery, there is some pain and swelling during the first week, but I can’t imagine that it could be any easier than this.
After 8 injections Dr. Bayless was the first doctor to listen to me. He found my problem was bone on bone hip. Now 2 weeks after surgery I can’t believe how much better I feel. I am so thankful. He and his staff take time listen and it shows that they care. Someone complained about a long wait but he is worth it. There is a reason he is so busy!!!
I've always been impressed with Dr. Bayless.
I can’t express enough my amazement with Dr Robert Bayless’s work, 5 weeks after surgery and I am 90% back to normal. “Unbelievable”. I had the same surgery on the other knee about 6 yrs. ago by another Dr in Fort Worth and it took 9months for full recovery. Thank You from this happy patient Vicky
Long time wait and wasted my whole afternoon. I had to take time off and didn’t see him. Horrible servuce
Very good experience. Drained my elbow, cortizone shot, and I have had no issues since. Even charged less than my GP who had done this before.
I don't think he spent even 15 minutes with me. He did answer what questions I could hurry up and ask. He is very personable. You can always ask his PA but he isn't your doctor, is he? I'd give 5 stars if he would spend more time. The way he holds your leg (knee problems) you can tell he seems to be able to look inside by feeling your knees. So far I am satisfied with him and he doesn't seem to rush you into surgery. He is trying other ways to treat the pain.
Sometimes the doctor does not spend enough time with patient.
I have been a patient for 25 years, with nasty problems to both knees and both ankles. Dr. Bayless has done several surgeries (including a knee replacement), and has kept me on my feet for many years. He has been a star of orthopedic medicine in Irving for a long time, and I trust his judgment completely. I doubt there is anyone better in this area when it comes to knee injuries.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
