Dr. Starks is wonderful! I’ve been seeing her about 2 years now. She’s very attentive and patient and she focuses on what I’m concerned about. I don’t like going to the doctor personally but she makes it very comfortable and puts me at ease every time . It is a little difficult to get through on the phones sometimes, but with Covid that’s understandable. Everything has been crazy. Nothing bad can be said about her, from me. As long as I can keep her as my doctor I definitely will!

Dr. Starks always takes the time to answer my questions and her knowledge seems to know no bounds. She's warm and friendly and approachable. I'm very lucky to have found her.

I love Dr. Starks! She is so kind and really listens to me. I have followed her from her private practice and now to Baylor St. Luke's. Her staff has always been wonderful at Baylor St. Luke's.

Dr. Starks is a kind, attentive doctor whom I trust completely. Unlike other doctors, she never rushes you and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I very highly recommend her!!

I am a patient of Dr. Starks and like many have stated she is very patient, listens and explains anything you may have a question about. She doesn't make you feel like she is in a RUSH to get to the next appointment.

Dr. Starks is a very genuine and caring doctor. Doctors like her are hard to come across. She really cares and puts effort in knowing her patients. Do not let these negative reviews inhibit you from taking her on as your primary care. She has referred me to some of the best doctors who ended up finding out I need open heart surgery & possibly saving my life! Yes she used to have her own medical practice and now she has joined a group. I do not think it is fair to leave her bad reviews bc the new practice does not take your insurance or you have long wait times. She truly is 1 in the million! Take it from someone who works in healthcare!

The doctor seems nice, but the 400.00 bill for the "establish care" first time visit is ridiculous! All she did was talk to me & listen to my heart. I wonder if it's because I have insurance?

I really liked Dr. G. Starks until she and her husband closed their practice, Starks Medical, in the middle of the night without any notice. I have been trying for months to get my medical records to no avail. Very unprofessional..

Giovanna Starks is a fantastic doctor that i would highly recommend. I have seen her for a few years and truly trust her with my medical care. She is patient, a great listener, and has a great bedside manner.This has been a tough year for all medical facilities so take negative reviews with a grain of salt, i haven't had any issues scheduling appointments and getting scripts refilled as long as you are relatively flexible. I assume when the pandemic recedes things will continue to improve.
