If I could give him no stars I would. My dad has stage four colon cancer snd was in serious pain. He went to see Dr. Mahmood and waited hours to see him the first time despite having an appointment. When it was time to see him, Dr. Mahmood barely looked at him and said him for less than five minutes. We took my dad home, and that night he was in serious pain and wasn’t eating so we decided to take him to MD Anderson’s emergency room. The doctor there said he needed surgery immediately. Now my dad can eat and is no longer in pain. They told us to go see a surgeon in network for follow up so we went back to Dr. Mahmood. When we went in he seemed offended we didn’t wait for him for surgery (that was several weeks out), and didn’t take the time to look a my dad. He disagreed with everything MD Anderson did and wouldn’t prescribe my dad more medication of what the previous doctor had suggested for blood clot prevention post surgery. He asked us how MD Anderson accepted him if they didn’t take our insurance and we said it was because it was an ER visit. He then told us to take him back to the ER there then and walked away. He didn’t answer any of our questions. Dr. Mahmood is arrogant and disrespectful, and I recommend him to no one.

I was a patient of Dr. Mahmood whewn I had cancer in 201-2011. I LOVEEEEE this doctor and his staff. I AM A REFERRAL CORDINATOR IN A CLINIC AND RECOMMENED HIM WHEN NEEDED.

Dr. Ali and his staff are wonderful. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment his staff was very polite and helpful and accommodated me with the quickest appointment available. The day of my appointment with Dr. Ali he was very welcoming, he answered all my questions. He took his time speaking to me regarding my concerns with upcoming surgery. He made me feel very good after my visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Ali!! Awesome doctor.

This doctor is off the chain amazing. Made me feel extra comfortable right off the bat. I received an immediate and accurate diagnosis, along with treatment for it that worked. Glad he's in our Sugar Land community!

Dr. Ali Mahmood is a very attentive doctor. He took the time to read my intake form and asked me specific questions from there. His bedside manners are commendable. Would highly highly recommend him to anyone needing a Colorectal Surgeon.

Dr Mahmoud is the best doctor you can trust & rely on his job. I had colon surgery a week before & doctor visit today after surgery, all went well thank God he gave me 2nd chance to live & I’m in good fast recovery time now. I’m so happy to have a real good doctor I can trust for my life treating sickness I had & he did a successful job. Thank you

Disgusting person, disgusting physician & team. No respect for people and their time. Stands around wasting time and whole patients are waiting for hours, even if they are in pain. Very disappointing and unprofessional. They ask you to come in early and make you wait for hours. Horrible service for the community.
