List of Chi Tran's Reviews
I was told that the cost of the visit would be 176 co-pay and everything else is covered under insurance but recently I received a statement with 260$ balance for the same visit. I didn't get any treatment. Just a 5 minute office visit costs around 600$ which is not at all acceptable. What is the purpose of providing the insurance card 1 month before the visit to verify all the details?
Usually never review but….saw her 7 years ago she was lovely then super kind and helpful and willing …. not sure what the deal is now. She was in-depth with the informative piece and while she was talking but was noticeably frustrated and sighing every time I asked a question or when I was talking. She also rushed out. Like sorry I’m here to get help because I feel defeated and your cut throat attitude didn’t help. If you are behind on your schedule that’s your problem not mine. Won’t be going back and do not recommend if you need actual help and some compassion. Oh and the front desk one of the ladies was horrible and sounded like she hated her job. Better not get charged extra like the other 2 reviews. I will say the nurse who took me into the room had more compassion then Dr Tran. I waited MONTHS for this appointment and it was honestly a waste of my money and time.
Dr. Tran is great and very knowledgeable but make sure you get a quote prior to service. Kelsey Seybold has outrageous pricing for clinic visits and if you are paying out of pocket or haven't met your deductible, you may be in for a surprise.
My daughter had a one year revisit with Dr. Tran for about 5 minutes, and later we received a bill of $387 with adjustment of -$142.74 which gives an out of pocket amount of $244.26. Is that expensive to see a dermatologist now? Do doctors charge randomly or is there a standard to follow? The statement doesn't show the breakdown of the billing at all. We were very disappointed!
I saw Dr Tran a few weeks ago for a new patient (10 minute) visit. When I arrived I paid close to $200 and figured that would cover it. Unfortunately, they charged $600 to my insurance and I still have to pay an outlandish amount of money. I’m writing this review because billing services said there’s nothing they can do. If you are going to bill someone that much money, it should be TOLD BEFORE SERVICES. I am shocked and disappointed.
Dr. Tran has a very professional bedside manner, very thorough in her explanations, diagnosis and provides treatment options. She listened very well without rushing me. The appointment was quick, yet a lot of information about my condition was given. Very happy with the care she provided and definitely recommend her. My wife went to a different Dermatologist through Kelsey-Seybold and she said Dr. Tran was much more thorough and professional than any others doctor that she has gone to through Kelsey.
Dr. Tran is very thorough and professional. She explains your condition and listens to your symptoms. Her bedside manner is very professional, may not be too cozy and warm, but she is extremely good at what she does and knows her stuff. She is friendly and trustworthy.
Dr. Tran is very professional and thorough. She listened to my description of my symptoms and gave me lots of information and options on how to treat. The past 2 dermatologists did not. Her bedside manner may not be all warm and fuzzy but she knows her stuff. The appointment was quick but very thorough. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tran.
Dr. Tran treated my scalp skin cancers with utmost care. Next visit only one lesion left. Thanks
This doctor visit was really disappointing. She would not listen to what I had to say and interrupted me the whole time. She just asked questions and questions instead of listening to her patient. Plus she only dedicated 5 min. and I had to pay a considerable amount of money. She was kind of rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
