Dr. Scott Cohen's Online Review Report Card

I never do this, I amOne to always encourage and support businesses and professionals will but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I booked a prenatal appointment with DrCohen and was charged in advance 100$ for a zoom meeting. Then to my surprise had a zoom meeting with 6 other parents at the same time. I couldn't talk about my personal medical conditions with the dr or anything and was charged ahead of time for this. There is also a 345$ annual fee outside of all the consultations. This is common now but thought I'd mention it. I called other pediatricians who do not charge for a meet and greet and were shocked dr Cohen charged for a 40 min zoom with a group of parents . He seemed lovely but this was unfortunately too upsetting

My daughter and i were on vacation and dr cohen happen to be at the same resort!I was concerned about a spider bite she had gotten the night before and asked someone we had met by the pool if they knew of an urgent care close by.They then walked me over to their pediatrician who checked my daughter's foot with no hesitation!My daughter is fine and thanks to the kind nature of dr cohen i was able to relax with my family on our vacation rather then spending it in an urgent care! Took time out of his own vacation to check out my child...now that is a great pediatrician!!!

Dr Cohen performed a series of reconstructions following a very unfortunate case of basil cell on my nose in 2002 and 2003. I am continually astonished by the number of people that cannot even tell I had major reconstructive surgery on my face. He did a great job and am so pleased the good Lord saw fit that this surgeon should enter my life at the right time. I recommend him very highly. As an aside, I now work in the medical field and can attest that his peers (competitors) all speak very highly of him.

Dr Cohen is AMAZING!!!! My husband and I were still a little undecided about a Pediatrician when we were admitted to Cedars and my Dr (the incredible Dr David Finke) said he would select someone to see our son in the hospital after he was born. Initially Dr Grinberg saw us first which she is absolutely lovely but after 2 days of very intense & traumatic labor and delivery (ended in a c-section) I don't remember a whole lot that first day. The remainder of our stay at cedars our son was seen by Dr Cohen and well... We absolutely love him! He is so incredibly sweet, warm, fun, and great with kids! So informative, helpful, encouraging, and super easy to talk to! I can't stress enough how great he is with kids and how we always enjoyed our time with him. Even super early in the am with very little sleep we were always happy to see Dr Cohen and talk with him. Ultimately even tho we didn't live in Bev Hills, we still felt it was well worth the drive from Sherman Oaks to his office for our son to have him as his Ped. We love their offices and the whole staff is absolutely wonderful. It's such a pleasant experience from start to finish. I always left feeling encouraged and totally informed and more knowledgeable. Never rushed, Dr Cohen takes his time and you can ask all your questions and get all the answers you need. Unfortunately we moved out of state but I had to write an overdue review because Dr Cohen is one of the best Peds in LA, we adore him.

We have seen Dr. Cohen for over a year now and have been extremely impressed with his extensive knowledge, professionalism and care. When it comes to our son we only want the best and we have definitely accomplished this with his medical care. His staff is nothing short of the same. Andrea at the front desk is so friendly and makes us feel Mason is their favorite patient. I'm sure they make every patient feel the same.

Dr Cohen is great. My daugther is almost 2.5 years old and Dr. Cohen is her doctor since she was born. As a first time mom, you panic over simple things but Dr. Cohen is so calm and guides you thru every step of the process. His calm approach made be a calmer mom and I am so fortunate to have him as our pediatrician. He, himself, has two girls and his credibilty in my eyes is so high especially when he shares some real examples from his own life than just theoritical approaches to situations from books. He also advised me on which activities to put her and when versus overloading her with unnecessary activites and making me spend money unnecessarily on activities that are not needed for her age. In summary, Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable, patient, full of energy, positive, social, calm, logical, and educational type of a doctor. I wish he had seminars for new parents. Every situation I dealth with him, I learnt so many practical tips from him. Another great thing about Dr. Cohen is that he is always on time and returns your calls as fast as any doctor can return after hours. His office partner is also great. I never waited more than 5 minutes in his office and more than 30 minutes after hour calls. We drive 1.5 hours to go to his office but he is all worthed. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to all parents and especially to the first time parents. He is AWESOME! His nurses, his office partner, and his office staff are also GREAT! THANK YOU DR. COHEN FOR BEING AN AWESOME PEDIATRICIAN FOR US!

Dr. Cohen I REALLY hope you read this review. #1 you should fire Karen. She's the most unprofessional rude person you could have to represent your practice. After two children under your care for 5 years I needed to come back to see a professional pediatrician to check on my daughters bronchitis and get a second opinion, so I made the phone call for an appointment. After being denied to come back because it wasn't a well visit and that I had chosen to pull my daughters out last year Karen has the audacity to tell me that I should just go back to my old doctor and ask someone else to see her.Number ONE, how can a reputable pediatrics office DENY service to a sick child? Per Karen, they don't just see anybody off the streets. EXCUSE ME lady, but my family is not anybody off the street. Number TWO, the receptionist was to adamant about the $250 yearly fee to be paid in full at the visit. Okay lady, seems like that's all you guys care about? How about just getting me the appointment and we can take care of it when I get there?Number THREE, since when did yelling at a customer become appropriate?Number FOUR, I must have told more than 10 families to ask for Dr. Cohen at Cedar's. With this kind of team Dr. Cohen, I'm sure i'm not gonna be the only one NEVER COMING BACK!!!

I cannot put into words how much Dr. Cohen has meant to our family. Our son was in the NICU when he was born and, although he had not yet met us, Dr. Cohen made it his mission to be there for us every step of the way. He visited our baby first thing every morning, then took the time to call and give us a full debrief after his visit. Now that our son is a bit older, we look forward to each of our well-baby office visits and come away armed with terrific information for the next stage of our baby's development. Dr. Cohen is thoroughly knowledgable, articulate and super fun. His office is a model for friendly service and the other doctors are great, too. Highly recommend!

Scott Cohen is AWESOME! My son is 16 and Dr. Cohen is young and hip so they really relate. The who staff is really great too. It's easy to get an appointment that fits with my schedule and my son really likes him. Dr. Cohen's wife is a orthodontist who is great as well! Parking is easy!

Dr. Cohen is awesome... we recently had to move and are so sad to lose such a great doctor for our son.
