I would highly recommend Dr Patel. My exam was very thorough and professional. Dr Patel took his time to explain in detail to me.

The office manager who happens to be Dr. Patel’s wife is an extremely rude, obnoxious, unprofessional and unpleasant person to deal with. I walked in the office without a mask (please understand mask is not mandatory in State of Texas anymore) and she humiliated me because I didn’t wear a mask. I politely apologized and asked her if there is a mask I can take. She responded to me so rudely and said that “we should charge you for a mask” She is so cheap and can’t spare a $1 mask for her patients. I asked one of the office staff if I can pay for the mask but she said “don’t worry about it”. Last time, I took my daughter, none of us had masks on and it wasn’t issue. Even if I forgot my mask or didn’t have it, she has no right to belittle me and corner me. She is one racist lady who treats people with disrespect. I’ve been working in the healthcare industry for over two decades now, physicians and other healthcare providers should make the patients feel good and provide comfortable care. You will find the opposite care in this office. The amount of money she gets from insurance companies for fraudulently billing claims is ridiculous. I would never step into that office again. I highly recommend don’t give her your business, she doesn’t deserve it.

This is the possibly the worst doctor's office I have every had to work with. This office charged my dad about a $1000 for a regular checkup, and then, their office did not give me correct information about how much I would be responsible to pay and then literally 6 years later (I saw him for a regular checkup in 2016!!!), they're sending me a bill and asking me to still pay for it in such a rude manner, being super condescending. When I got upset that I'm being sent a bill 6 years later for $300 for a regular office visit, I was told nothing could be done, and the office person hung up the phone on me without giving me the information that I need. Beware of this office-- they will send you absurd bills and find ways to bill you ridiculous amounts. Ask for exact costs before proceeding.

Seriously the most rude rep trying to schedule appointments for patients.

I am a repeating patient and an extremely rude rep didn't want to schedule my appointment. The lady was teaching me on how to pronounce and spell the patients name correctly. When I explained to her that I have a hard time with my speech, I got another lecture on how I am being rude.

I was extremely frustrated and upset with my interaction with the office manager. She seriously does not know how to deal with people. So very rude. I took my 89 year old mother for her check up and was told that I was being refused service because they said I owed money from TWO years ago. She didn’t even let my mother see the doctor. She can hardly walk. They never mentioned it to me when I called them to book appointments , nor did they follow up. I never refused to pay them, I just asked what were the services that I am being charged for. In turn they would say that the office manager will contact me to explain, with over the course of two years she never did. It was about $100. I pulled up my statements and saw that I already paid them but was confused as to why I’m paying more. Once again, I was ready to pay them but she never told me why. Instead she asked me if I know English properly, how rude can you be. That’s discriminating. The doctor himself was standing there near the office manager listening. You’re supposed to help people, not put them in more stress and bring them down. I pulled up my statement and proved that I paid. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Save yourself the time and gas! I made an appointment to see him and was very disappointed by the service and being so unprofessional. Highly recommend looking else where

Been a patient for only 2 years, but I say he’s the best for eye care.

I woke up Wednesday morning with a very serious bacterial eye infection. I needed a same day appointment with an ophthalmologist. After talking to Dr. Patel’s office they worked me in as an emergency patient and I was seeing within 30 minutes of arriving at the office. Dr. Patel assess my situation prescribe the correct medication’s for me and maintained direct doctor patient contact with me. He communicated with me directly, not his staff or nurses aide. He even called me on the weekend to see how I was doing. Dr. Patel is an exceptional doctor with an extremely pleasant bedside manner. I highly recommend this doctor for anybody looking for an ophthalmologist
