List of Hari Susarla's Reviews
worst experience we ever had, doctor is very commercial and worry about his business rather than patients care, we are out of coverage and had no medication and doctor and medical assistant refused to provide medication renewal and started to lie that prescription is sent to Pharmacy but which was not sent. called many times but they are very reluctant to sent the prescription unless another appointment made to the doctor. Would not recommend, try better doctor who really cares about patient.
Dr Susarla is very thorough and informative. He takes his time with patients and he is very good. He does a great job of explaining problems and treatment options. He is clearly REALLY smart yet easy to follow. I had diagnosis that often takes 2 years of testing before the answer is known-it took him 2 visits.

Great Doctor and an efficiently run operation with minimal waiting times
I had to take an early appointment as my 18 year old son had congestion and blocked ear and I wanted him to be seen by the doctor. The staff accommodated us the same day I called. It was our first visit to him, still it was comfortable. The staff and office environment was professional. The wait time was about 45 minutes. Doctor Susarla was friendly and attentive to all that we had to say. He was quick with diagnosis and prescribed adequate medication. He wasn't in rush and talked casually to us as well making us comfortable. Both my son and I felt satisfied after the Doctor's visit.
As we all know, physicians are under pressure to form an "assembly line" type of operation to remain profitable and stay in business. I especially like the personal attention Dr. Susarla renders. He is very personable and seems to view you as a person, rather than a dollar sign. The staff is friendly and I was seen at my appointment time. This is in stark contrast to some other physicians I have visited, where I showed up on time, but had to wait a long time to be seen.
I had an appointment as a new patient on May 10th at 10:30am with Dr Pasdar-Shirazi. I was happy before talking to front staff member Wendy. Happy that hopefully the doctor could find out why I am having problems breathing when I have the dry uncontrollable coughing. Sadly the visit was a nightmare due to staff members Sonya and Wendy! They were unprofessional and uncaring about my medical health concerns overall. They were more concerned with standing by a St Luke medical group Dr Percy Howard,my primary doctor for about 2 years. I had been happy with him up to my breathing issues. He has a bad habit of not listening 100% to me as a patient concerns for my health but I just continued seeing him because he diagnosed my Graves Disease and I appreciate him for that. I was unhappy with his lack of total concern for how I am telling him I can't breathe but not Mad.I made the appointment with Dr Pasdar-Shirazi based on a hospital staff member recommendation when I was at the hospital the day before getting chest xrays.I was told by staff member Sonya that Dr. Pasdar-Shirazi would not see me today because Dr Howard could possibly see her patients in her absence. I told her what does that have to with my visit today! I am coming to see why I am having breathing problems right now! Doing this visit the staff member Sonya was in the room when I got upset all over about the treatment at the front desk Wendy.I started crying, which led to the dry cough than the breathing problem. Sonya got me a glass of cold water and put her hand on my back and told me to take deep breaths- thankful for her having a caring manor at this point. I told her that the front staff Wendy has no idea how sick patients and what they have gone through.Wendy told me my insurance was past due in a negative way. She don't work for my insurance company but St Luke Medical Group. My insurance premium for May is due but my insurance is active through June 30th so it waa absolutely no reason for her negative attitude and words to me.Sonya shared with me that she will talk to Wendy about the health insurance. She left the room but came back with another staff member. I was told that I would not be seen by the doctor and that I need to go to the ER or find another primary doctor. I was requested to leave. I asked her to restate why the doctor want see me ? Basically at this point she told the other staff member to call security!Wow! A true nightmare! I was upset, crying, and having a hard time breathing due to dry cough and just sick! Cruel and unacceptable treatment to a patient in need of medical service!I left there and went next door to St Luke hospital ER. I found out by Emergency Room doctor what possibly was wrong with me which I was told I had Bronchitis. I was given a prescription for steroids for 5 days, use the inhaler Dr Howard prescribed and cough suppressant. In closing I just wanted to feel better and found out why I couldn't breathe with the dry coughing that was very uncomfortable and uncontrollable! The office staff Sonya and Wendy failed me with my health problems.I didn't actually talk to Dr Pasdar-Shirazi but only got 3rd party information from Sonya.I don't recommend this office or doctor.
I love this hospital and the doctors we’ve had have all been nothing short of amazing! My husband and I use Dr, Percy Howard as our primary care physician and he has been a great health care provider. His staff are always friendly and get us in for our appointments quickly.Dr Jamelka Brooke helped us to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy all throughout our journey. We had previously lost children in the past and had no answered as to why and how to prevent it until meeting with her. She always kept us informed and was amazing during labor and delivery as well as all the nurses!Dr Co May Pasdar is our sons pediatrician and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is so sweet and takes the time to answer any and all questions we have and she’s very informative! I HIGHLY recommend this hopital and group of doctors!
We have been with Dr. Susarla for a few years now, both for my husband and kids and have nothing but great things to say. He is easily available for sick child visits and is highly knowledgeable and competent, both as an internist and a pediatrician. He takes time to review things with us and we have never felt rushed with him. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend Dr. Susarla!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
