List of Houston Methodist Radiation Oncology Group's Reviews
Most of 24 and 25 I was not in the best of health, so me and Houston Methodist Sugarland were kind of best friends forever at one point. Things that I like about this location: There are two ultrasound/X-Ray, diagnostic departments. One within the hospital itself and one near the Breast cancer center allowing you to have multiple dates to choose from. Based on every emergency room visit and there were too many this year, while I wasn't always 100% satisfied because I think one ER person was in a mood, but overall every time I winded up there, I always was taken care of promptly and my needs were addressed. They contact my specialists too and I feel like they take me seriously, when I go there. For surgeries, the surgical team, suite, nurses are some of the best. One post recovery nurse even gave me a handwritten get well note post procedure. My husband was informed every step of the process and I liked that I had dates that worked with my work schedule. Parking is free, unlike lame Houston. I hate being sick, you've probably noticed the lack of Yelp reviews because of it, but the only reason I'm able to yelp or even have any semblance of life is because of this facility. I am thankful for them because otherwise, I'd be stuck going to terrible hospitals, which I won't bother naming. But if you've ben to them, you know.
This is going to be a wild ride buckle up. I've been to this hospital so much for ish, my body is a rebuilt Peterbuilt at this point- but that's not why you're here..... The ER department here is the besttaevadoit and I mean it! I have been seen and treated here multiple times but this last one.... I could have been in the cooler in back.... Awesome staff, they explained things to me carefully and made sure I was always comfortable. I was really scared but they assured me they had me and.... THEY DID. If you put me in an ambo- this is the only place ImmaGO. Crazy rwist of fate- I'M IN THE CLINK RIGHT NOW FINISHING THIS EDIT and DJ Khalid- ANOTHER one! They are taking amazing care of me and making blue cross pale, but that's a different review.... ....yes- it gonna happen why do you doubt the magic? #2025BIGBACKAPPROVED!!!
I've been to Methodist ER here three times within the month. Everyone has been really nice when I've gone save for one ER doctor who wasn't rude, he just wasn't as friendly as the others. The nurses are all so amazing - shout out to Nurse Regina (Reggie) in the ER who was full of humor and made me feel at ease. PA Sugay is really good. I got to see her the first time I went to the ER and she was very thorough. The last time I went in for abdominal pain on my upper right, but the ER doctor only did blood work, a chest xray, and no further testing on why I was having the upper right abdominal pain. I was a little disappointed because usually they are pretty thorough regardless. I have found that I never have to wait too long to be triaged and then placed in a "room". The rooms are just places in the ER separated by a partition. The "door" of your room is just partition as well, but at least you don't have to sit out in the waiting room the whole time. You won't have much privacy because the person in the next "room" to yours can hear everything you say or that the medical staff says to you. If you want privacy, this isn't the place. The ER is very clean looking though, and the bathroom was also very clean so kudos to the cleaning staff. Oh, they also give you blankets and pillows you can use while you are sitting in a chair that reclines a little in your "room."
My mother was admitted with new onset heart condition, I stayed there and the drip was stared started beeping due to air on line, i Pressed the button , a different Nurse came and silenced the drip did not care to check why it was beeping. Medication that was supposed to be given for 6 hours was given for 3hrs I questioned the nurse and I asked to clarify with charge nurse and doctor she stated the charge was okay to start the drip on a different time as scheduled. I'm a nurse myself my sister an Np was there she asked the nurse if she let the cardiologist aware of the the medication not given as prescribed.she stated yes. can you imagine those family members who are not aware of what's going on. That's why patients just die from incompetent nurses and as if that's not enough when I asked for an excuse letter the doctor stated they don't give excuse letters. Why so that they can discourage families to see whats happening . family members please advocate for your loved ones when admitted stay there. Even if you don't get excuse letter to bring back to your work. No one seemed to be bothered by the medication error. Methodist in Sugarland you are just sham stay away. Very disappointed
I am currently sitting in one of the ER hallways where my son is being treated. There is no privacy whatsoever; my son and three other patients are all lined up against one wall. The doctor and nursing staff are very professional and attentive however this place reeks of urine.
Incredibly professional and caring teams in ER, ICU and surgery. Can't say enough good things about them.
My experience was great. I went in between 5:30 and 6 pm and luckily the wait wasn't long which is usually not my experience at any ER I've ever been to. I was prepared to wait for hours but was seen pretty quickly. The staff was also was very nice and accommodating. They ran tests which took about an hour to produce results then wrote me a prescription which took care of my issue. All in all, I was on my way in a few hours. I generally hate going to ER in general but I am grateful that this experience was very pleasant. I also like the fact that they use something called "My Chart" in which you can log in via a link they send you and you can see all your results, also making it readily available for printing if needed. Parking was easy as well. I would honestly recommend them. Thank you Houston Methodist for taking care of me.
Brought a family member to the Emergency room and ran inside asking for help and not one, but 2 nurses immediately came to help me. Once inside immediately triaged, put in a room, saw a nurse, a nurse practitioner and several other staff. All very professional, very nice and caring despite being day before a holiday! Was given information every step of the way. Was admitted and did not have to wait for a room. Very impressed with cleanliness and space of room! Pharmacy was on top of medications, doctor came and talked to both of us about plan of care and mention several times he would be here all night and to call with any questions at any time! I could go on and on, but just want to say this is one of the Best Hospitals I've ever been!
Love this hospital. Always treated with respect and kindness. Dr. V. Phan is phenomenal. Now, I get to be a patient of Dr. A. Falk. I like her a lot. She will do my surgery this morning. Next review, post surgery.....
I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Anastasia, my nurse, and Dr Mccauther , for their exceptional care. As a patient at Memorial Herman for six years, I am thankful for their life-saving treatment. However, my experience at Methodist surpassed expectations, providing the best hospital experience I've ever had. The treatment, updates, and follow-ups were outstanding, superb, and top-tier. I felt at home, never anxious or curious, as all questions were answered promptly. I highly recommend this hospital to all patients; they truly stand out. Thank you, Ms. Anastasia, for your dedication! ( as the term goes "they are not like us " Nurse Anastasia you go girl !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
