I am very happy with Dr Hernandez care , He listen and explain everything to you and that is what you need in a Dr when you do not know what is happening with your body . It is not easy to have. Rheumatologist to take the time with a patience and answers every question not matter how silly that can be . Dr Hernandez is great !!!

Dr Hernandez has been a life saver. It took 20 years to finally get the diagnosis of Lupus, with all my other physicians being dismissive of all my chronic symptoms. Dr Hernandez took the time to review my entire medial history, labs, etc and has been a huge part of my holistic care. I drive an hour and a half each way simply because his care is worth it

I have been a patient of Dr. Hernandez since 2007. I had been very sick for many years, without answers, when I first met him. I was ready to give up. At my first appointment it was obvious that Dr. Hernandez would put together the pieces of a very complicated medical picture. He had clearly read, in detail, all my history and asked questions that clearly demonstrated he understood what was going on. From that day forward every appointment I have had with him he remembers all the details. He takes the time to REALLY listen. He is committed to insuring that all his patients can have the BEST quality of life possible in spite of the serious conditions he is treating. My condition has improved greatly under his care. He explains things in a way that I can understand and it is important to him that I understand. I have sent MANY personal friends and Lupus foundation referrals to him. They were all extremely happy. Everybody in his practice is the best in the business. If you have an emergency and he is not available you will get great care from the other Doctors and PA's on his staff. Good Rheumatologists are hard to find GREAT Rheumatologist are impossible to find. Dr. Hernandez is the BEST!

Horrible attitude as a doc I never met a doctor like him in my life. I had just gotten of the hospital and he was the second doc that I was supposed to see because of me having issues with my insurance . And plus I couldn't even walk I was walking with a walker barley making it this man had the nerve to tell why I'm here it's nothing I can do for you he was rude and had a attitude . I have witness to my mom was also there with me . And plus I asked him to give some medicine and he told me no .

I don't think he ever listened to me. He was unavailable after my visit.

I think he is nice and does a reasonable job overall. But I can' t say that I can communicate with him. I never ever get a call back even when I ask for apersonal call (which I don't do very often, only when I really need to). I wait usually for several weeks for my results. I don't think I will be going back because of the poor communication.

Great doctor. Usually runs right on time. (may have a short wait occasionally) He does not rush your appointment, listens to what you are saying, explains treatment options available. etc. Knowledgeable,kind and caring. He has also done several cortisone injections in my hands, giving me relief from severe pain. Refers to other specialties as needed. As an R.N. and a patient that has high expectations, I would definitely recommend Dr. Hernandez to others.

Alhambra emergency room. He is an excellent dr - he is very thorough and caring. super smart and informative. he saved my little girl !

Dr. Hernandez is amazingly kind, personable and proactive. His staff is happy relaxed but very professional. Everyone is usually smiling friendly and outgoing. My RA is very sevier and Dr Hernandez keeps me going - (even able to ride my horses) I can't say enough to match how much I appreciate Dr. Hernandez, his staff (even his wife and kids who are sometimes there) Almost all the time they run on time, but I don't believe in perfect scores so that is where I put that they are anything but perfect.
