List of Keith Kiser's Reviews
My wife and I have been going to Dr. Kiser since 1983 and we have had the best experiences. He takes care of all of our health needs and coordinates with our other doctors. He's like a small town doctor in big town, a breath of fresh air.
Horrible personal experience by our family with this guy. Will never use him again and would never recommend.
He wouldn't see me.All I have is a light cold. I find it odd because he has been treating me for the same things for 17 years. His receptionist told me that they have been sending people to the local Urgent Care to get COVID-19 tested, and then she said that I might as well just get treated for whatever it is there. So does that mean he is going to retire or something? He’s a doctor and can’t see sick patients? I’m sick and I have to prove that I’m not sick. What does he do all day in there if there are no”sick” patients to see?

I have been a patient of Dr Kiser for just over 6 years now and feel like I owe my life to him. I moved for the east side to Sienna and looked for a new physician. When I first met him he was very thorough so much so I wanted to ask why so many test, etc. he took the time to explain that obtaining updated baseline and running some test based on my age that where not performed before were recommended, typical doctors trying to get more money.... Test he ran PSA came back high, he retested, still high and referred me to Dr.Nickells...more test and yep, cancer. I was so upset that I had cancer, more upset that my former physical missed it, and if Dr.Kiser had not ran his normal tests, it would have gone untreated and progressed. I am now being successfully treated and my quality of life is better and is managed because of Dr Kiser!
Called telehealth today and was very lucky to get dr kiser. Cheerful, kind and took the time to listen and go over my health condition. Best telehealth doctor I've ever gotten.
asked how he could help...I started to share and 20 seconds later he said, "I have other patients more important than you, wrap it up"... Seems more interested in his higher paying customers. Tried changing my blood pressure medicine to what his pharmaceutical rep wanted him to push, INSTEAD of what works.
I went to Dr. Kiser a while back and while his staff is indeed great, he is not. After prescribing me a steroid cream, I asked him if I could use the OTC steriod cream that I already had at home. He got very irritated and scolded me for asking questions. I have never in my life been yelled at by a doctor for asking questions regarding my treatment.
I visited Dr. Kiser because I thought he was the Keith Kiser from the Detroit/Saline area, who is a smart, skilled musician, and I thought he had become a doctor.
I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. For my physical, he basically reviewed the questionnaire I filled out and said the nurse would be in to do my labs. He didn't bother checking my joints or anything just read the paperwork and was done. My husband went in just to have lab work ran and there is a new nurse. She seemed nice, said she came from urgent care and was learning the correct way to do things now that she's in family practice (Scary). She drew his blood in which my husband said was way more painful than normal. Later that night he kept complaining about his arm hurting. I took a look at it only to see a decent sized bruise running from his muscle to his forearm. By the next morning, it was worse. (See picture) He called the office later that afternoon since the pain was getting worse only to be told the doctor doesn't speak to patients and it was normal. The nurse then states "let me give you your results while on the line" she reads him the results and my husband questions it

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
