List of Memorial Eye Center's Reviews
I was yet, in my 10+ years of wearing glasses, got any of my prescriptions perfect, BUT I can finally say I have. Memorial Eye Center in Sugarland got it right!! Dr Joseph was awesome as well. I seriously just can’t believe how well I can see with my new prescription I got today, I had to come here and give a review. Very content customer
Walked in the front door over the Holidays - Very Rude Greeting - will not go back.
Be upfront about prices and services. I feel cheated because I told everyone I met that I only wanted to get glasses this time but they went ahead and did a contact lens fitting and charged me for it. Yes, I did say I wore contacts (because I do) but I wanted to use my money for glasses this year. Thanks to what was done to me I am getting neither this year because it’s all too expensive after $150 for a prescription I don’t need. My whole family will be going elsewhere and making sure everyone we know steers clear of you so thanks for reminding me of what businesses like you are really like.
I came in to help my husband pick out his first pair of ‘wear all the time’ glasses. I was told that I was not allowed in to help him despite us being fully vaccinated, properly wearing masks and the eyeglasses area not being crowded. I was told that I had to stand outside in the August 95+ degree heat and watch through the window. He was allowed to come speak to me and show me his glasses through the window or door. This was terrible customer service. We are sad that Dr. Arnold has retired and will miss him. We’ve been with this practice for 10+ years. We are fine with the doctors, but very disappointed in the poor customer service shown last week.

WARNING: New Owners. This is no longer Today's Vision. They do not stand behind the products they sell anymore. Frames used to have a one-year warranty now you have to pay extra for to get a warranty. Expensive frames frames broke within 30 days of purchase for no apparent reason. Warranty was not offered at time of purchase. Had to pay to replace with the same frames.
Dr Reed was really a dark cloud on the whole rest of the organization
Services has changed from Today's vision to Memorial eye center a lot. LOWER to bad: Quotes on a piece of paper, short explanation of insurance usage versus what you have to pay, less information on the Invoices, no good clarity, poor prescriptions accuracy, back and for adjusments, lower attentiveness. Client for over 8 years but not anymore.
Couldn’t get these guys to email or fax over a copy of my prescription when I was out of the country. Blind and couldn’t see for an entire week.
I’ve been going to Memorial Eye Center (formerly Today’s Vision) for about 10 years now and never felt compelled to write a review until now. The doctors and staff at MEC are all very kind, competent, and easy to work with. I did have an issue with the wait times at my recent visit, however. I showed up 10 minutes early and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. Luckily my experience with Dr Arnold and assistant Wiley made up for the long wait time. Before I was seen Wiley asked if I needed anything and made sure I was alright, and then during the eye exam was very friendly and carried out the exam with utmost professionalism. Dr Arnold was also very helpful and the two of them guided me through the process of switching fromdaily to monthly contacts. They both went through all the details of my eye exam and made sure I had all my questions answered. My new contacts are a great fit and I’ll definitely continue to see Memorial Eye Center for my future optometry needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
