List of Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital Emergency Center's Reviews
Go anywhere else. I have an ileostomy and stomach pain, 3 hour wait. They don't care if you die.
Dont even bother coming to this place at all I would rather bleed out on the side of the highway. The reception is absolutely clueless and the security guard is there for display purposes. Disrespectful and absolutely lost staff. I’d rather put a bandaid on my wound and call it a day than ever go here again.
The staff here is incredibly incompetent. We left AMA because they were shouting about my dad's pacemaker acting up, when in reality he does not have a pacemaker. I clarified that multiple times, but they mistook the port placed for chemo for a pacemaker and would not listen when I tried to explain that it is not a pacemaker. They hadn't placed the ECG leads properly and wanted to admit my dad due to an abnormal read. As someone with a medical background, hearing the nurses speak to each other confirmed that they are clueless. We left this ED against medical advice to go to Methodist instead. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere if you want quality care.
Worst ER by far. They make you wait 4-5 hours in ER waiting list. Complained about abdominal cramps due to pregnancy and they left her with just giving antibiotics for UTI. Didn’t even admit her while she was pregnant. Later after 2 days she had a miss-carriage in 20th week due to negligence from the doctors and staff. They just have 1 nurse and 1 person at registration and they move so slowly and does things so slowly at at very normal pace. You work in ER. You NEED TO ACT FAST
I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. They discharged me with fever never gave me any medicine.. because they said everything was negative.. here I am 24 hours later with fever 104 .. if I don’t make it do to misdiagnosis memorial hermann killed me for not treating whatever this is my body is trying to fight.
The worst experience I’ve had at a Memorial Hermann. I chose this location because it was close to my house. I visited this location around 12p due to have constant major sharp pain on my left side stomach. Since I suffer from kidney stones, I told the clinical aid and PA on my initial diagnosis that I am in major pain since 8am. I SUFFERED IN MAJOR PAIN FOR 7 hours until I received pain medication. I asked 3 different times for pain medication and kept being dismissed. I was in a wheelchair suffering while in front of the front desk personnel. Nobody cared about my wellbeing and condition while having tears in my eyes in pain. Anyone in the medical field knows kidney stones are the worst pain. I will never go to this location ever again. Anyone reading this please go somewhere else. I recommend Houston Methodist Hospital.
Not clean location.
It's 1:36 they need a Life flight where is the Life flight why is not at this hospital the ambulance know that he was having a stroke with the left side right side not working why didn't they like fly him then they don't have doctors here so anybody need Life flight anybody have a stroke do not come here
This Emergency Room was absolutely disgusting and completely disorganized — and it had nothing to do with the construction. There was dried blood on the lamp above the bed, and patients were lined up in the hallway like something out of a movie in a rundown hospital. My dad was admitted but never given a real room, spending the whole night in the ER. They honestly should’ve just let him go home. To make it worse, we got a text saying he was in the hallway all night, but when I arrived, he was in a room (in the ER still) and told me he’d been there the entire time. Just an awful experience overall.
Although there are patients in the emergency room, people are struggling for their lives, but the construction and especially the terrible noise continue, and the huge management of Memeriol turns a blind eye to this. It is a shame and disgrace.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
