MIchelle O'shea's Online Review Report Card

I was diagnosed in 2004 with stage 3A Breast cancer, had two rows of lymph nodes removed and a mastectomy as well as being diagnosed with Paget’s disease. Dr O’Shea gave me my life back, gave my 4 young kids their mommy back and my husband, his wife back. She has always shown compassion, professionalism and kindness. When Dr. O’Shea moved to Texas to practice to say I was devastated is an understatement. However, Dr. O’Shea knowns that I will follow her practice where ever she is. Summit Nj, Newark nj, Sparta, nj, Glen Ridge, Nj and now Texas. Once the pandemic is not a health risk any longer, I will travel to Texas to see the BEST Surgeon there is. If it weren’t for her skill and knowledge, I would not be here today!! Of course I trust her wisdom and medical expertise and I will continue to recommend her to anyone in need of an amazing Doctor.

My visit with Dr O’Shea was extremely professional and satisfying to me. She made me feel comfortable about my results and informed me as what I should do in the future. She was down to earth and spoke to me as a doctor should to a patient; very kind, compassionate but still very knowledgeable . I give her 5 stars out of 5 for being the best Dr to see. She wants what is best for me

Horrible doctor, I went to her with my ultrasound and mammogram CD so she can biopsy the lump on the inner side of my right breast, she biopsies another area of the breast and I was told that everything is normal, and then about a year and half later, after I repeated the mammogram and ultrasound the radiologist told me that the area of concern was not biopsies at all, so I was left untreated for more than a year, and it turned out that what she missed was breast cancer. Will never ever go back.

Maybe because she is a woman you would expect her to be more empathetic. She is a bit rough. When I became upset during the visit she said, "what do you think you are going to die". She also stood at the foot of my bed after surgery and was not the least compassionate after she realized the cancer had spread. to lymph nodes. No hands on or comfort. provided. Not much of a bedside manner. Sometimes that is what is needed the most.

Not only did Dr. O'Shea misdiagnosed my breast cancer, she seems to be using antiquated method of surgery that does not align with modern science. My suggestion is to get a second opinion and find a doctor who is more thorough in surgery and treatment options. If it were not for her my cancer would not have grown and spread to the lymph nodes, making things worst physically, as well as mentally.

The office was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. O'Shea was awesome! Personable, compassionate and most of all a great listener. She eased my nerves. Explained all to me and answered all my questions. It was a Friday afternoon end of day. She took her time with me. Never once did I feel like the visit was being rushed. It's rare these days to find a health care provider with these qualities. Very happy I went to her.
