HORRIBLE office. Condition was so bad I had to go to ER. Memorial Herman said 2 weeks later was the soonest to see this doctors. Showed up 10 minutes late as there was NO parking and was turned away for service. I said I would wait as my condition is not resolved and they still would not see me. Pretty sure denying service is against the law.

This 2 star is for staff. Had a 7am appointment, desk said it's best if I get there over an hour ahead of time. So, I arrived at 6:15am for a 7am appointment. Paperwork took less than 5 mins. Now its 8:20 and they still haven't call me back. Mind you, colon prep, no food, water, coffee and every 20 mins is a lot.

Dr. Jafri and his staff were more than helpful...I highly recommend him. The procedure was a breeze and I didn't feel a thing. The nurses were all so attentive and kind.

Dr. Jafri performed a couple of procedures in August of 2020 and I had no complaints. However, I recently had an issue where I felt that he was a hurried and the experience was less than stellar but he called me and as a result, Dr. Jafri will continue to be my go-to physician for gastroenterology and GI surgery needs.

Dr. Jafri kept his hands in his jacket pockets the whole visit time. Did not want to examine me or even care to take a visual look at the problem and pain area. Walked out after 2 minutes. His assistant came and found me in the visiting room and asked if I was done. Told her to ask the Dr. and I was dismissed. A very bad day for me.

Just got the call that my appointment was canceled for tomorrow right now and I haven’t even been seen by this specialist yet been waiting on this referral since December! Very mad At this office not being prepared for wanting to take off for Spring break in a more fashionable timing then the week of! Very disappointing especially for a patient who has been waiting for this appointment patiently!

I had a duodenal ulcer in 2016 that Dr. Jafri found and fixed, no muss no fuss. I actually had a very, very positive experience with this doctor and nursing staff at Memorial Hermann in Sugar Land. The pain had been almost unbearable. Two years later, I had to have major abdominal surgery and many other procedures due to complications but I had requested Dr. Jafri initially, and he got things rolling. They literally saved my life, including Dr. Jafri and Dr. Shah. I highly recommend this physician.
