Run away. don't walk. probably a good doctor, but impaired by his completely incompetent billing department. They refused to see us, even though they were in network. I cannot comprehend the stupidity involved here. The staff is untrained and has tried to throw up hurdle after hurdle for my dying father. This doctor's office has violated their hippocratic oath by causing additional anxiety and stress to an already stressful situation. Don't go here. run away unless you want anxiety, stress, frustration on top of your cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Prath is the type of doctor you find more often in your dreams than in reality. He had obviously done his homework before my first visit and knew about my case in depth. He had a white board in the examining room and used it to illustrate our discussion. His interpersonal skills are extraordinary, and he showed a sincere interest in me both as a patient and as a person. His command of the field of hematology/oncology was impressive, and he explained his impressions in detail and with great coherence. Although my hope is that I will not end up as an oncology patient, without reservation I will recommend Dr. Prath to anyone in need of his services. Without doubt, he will become one of the Houston area's most respected and acclaimed physicians. Thank you, Dr. Prath!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
