Dr. Koop is an excellent surgeon. He removed the cataract in my right eye, with extreme precision. He is friendly, and not selfish or arrogant. He's a real gentleman.

Due to Drama over Obamacare's changes to Insurance Providers, and the C-19 Pandemic, I had not been back in about 3 years. This visit in Dec 2020, was my best experience ever. There was the usual pandemic safe guard drama everyone else has, but it seemed they were not as overbooked as before, so I was in and out in less than an Hour. I have been going there for Years and took Mom & Dad there when they were alive. Elaina, his assistant, and her assistant Elaine were super and a Team. The examination left me confident my Rx will be good. The Restasis prescribed, is now $1900 for 90 Days (W/ BCBS Insurance), so chalk that up to Greed on the Allergan's part, but the rest went very well. They even found a Credit of $150 on my account from my visit in prior years and applied it, as I was prepared to pay cash rather than take another training tour to Katy because Blue Cross's new provider was that far! So I got out of there for $50. I am sure lesser outfits would have "lost" the Credit, but not TEI. It was there, ready to be applied. Top Notch. The more you tell them about how you work, and your health, the better the results. Thanks Dr Koop and your Team! In the Optical store next door, Optics West's, Olivia Ocera won me over with her with her experience, compassion, knowledge, and dedication to quality. The days of ordering my Glasses at COSTCO ended right then & there. Kudos Olivia, another All Star!
