List of Premier Family Physicians's Reviews
I highly recommend coming to this practice. Everyone was so polite, didn't treat me like I was a number. My nurse Lorie was so kind and patient. Dr. Allen Jarzombek was also very kind and patient, thorough with all my needs. I am so happy I finally found the right place for me.
I went in for allergy symptoms. The doctor was extremely condescending and overall rude. He did not give me the opportunity to share my concerns. He asked questions in a way that made me feel like I was stupid and completely dismissed me when I said I have allergies every year, stating I couldn't have allergies because I dont have sinus pressure or itchy eyes.I left the office in tears. Just a warning, stay away from Dr. Robert Ondash. Worst doctor I have ever seen, unless you want to be talked down to and treated like you have no idea about anything.
My family and I have been coming to this location and the Eiger Rd location for years and have been well pleased. However I had a very disappointing visit for a physical and labs this week. I was told that sick pts were not allowed to go to the Westlake location - only the Southwest location. At my 8AM appt, there was a man already there who was coughing and took off his mask to blow his nose and then touch the credit card keyboard. He sat down and and only had his mask over his mouth. I asked him to cover his nose as well and only very reluctantly moved the mask up a bit. When he was called back, I went to the receptionist to tell them that they need to disinfect the keyboard. They seemed unconcerned and very passive. Eventually they cleaned the keyboard. Also, my temperature was taken only after I was called back. If this man did have COVID, would I be contacted? Also, waiting for labs, patients tended to congregate together. I have family members coming to this location soon and am very concerned about a COVID compliance issue here.
I've been seeing Dr Selena Ng at Premier Family Physicians at Westlake for a couple of years now and all of my experiences at this practice have been very positive. It's easy and fast to get an appointment, the staff are friendly and professional, and I have never had to wait. Dr Ng is nice (and all of my kids like her), knowledgeable, was quick to double check something with another doctor when she felt she needed to (which I very much appreciate), and extremely helpful with figuring out which medicine would be appropriate for something we weren't sure about. I highly recommend!
I came in as a new patient for chronic leg pain, and thought I had a stress fracture and was going to be in for a long road to recovery. Dr. Jarzombek presented a few follow-up options to further reach a diagnosis and said I could get in the same day with Dr. Neigert on the physical medicine team, as she had a background in sports and had experience with determining if an expensive MRI is necessary. As soon as I saw her, she was able to quickly determine that it was very unlikely I had a stress fracture, and instead began using painful (but good pain!) Active Release Techniques on my leg. Within 15-20 minutes, I felt completely better, which felt like a miracle considering how long it usually takes to recover from injuries! Loved the service I received here.
Never again. This has been my primary care doctor group since 1992 -- through multiple name changes and group affiliations. In the last two years, each visit there has been worse than the one before (with maybe one or two exceptions). Today I was "treated" by someone I had never met. Again. The revolving door of medical professionals here is way out of hand. This person, who apparently did not bother to review my chart at all, was obnoxious, combative and rude. I didn't hear one compassionate word. Yes, this is a stressful time for everyone, and most especially healthcare professionals, but what I went through today was absolutely uncalled for. I walked out without receiving any kind of treatment whatsoever and will never go back.
I went with a family member to an appointment today. I mentioned that the family member has been depressed. I was told by the PA that they didn’t have time to discuss that today. It was never mentioned again during the appointment. No mention of scheduling a follow-up appointment. Depression is real. I can only hope that I can get my loved one to another dr office that cares about mental health before it becomes very serious. If you want a 10 minute appointment where they only care about billing than this is the dr office for you.
Receptionist have the attitudes of an Arby's drive-tru. Call for unprofessionalism and excuses blamed on multiple systems.
I had a pretty lousy experience with the Westlake location. I was going in for a travel consultation and 1. The staff was terrible. Rude and incompetent. 2. I saw Dr. Lifshen and he not only was he condescending and rude but his level of "I know what I am talking about because I am the expert" was very off putting.I had gone on a trip to Thailand 2 years ago and saw another doctor at his practice. I was given a z-pack and a travelers diarrhea antibiotic along with Malaria pills to cover me in the event anything happens while I was overseas. I saw Dr. Lifshen, expecting something similar for my upcoming trip to South Africa. He refused to provide a travelers diarrhea antibiotic stating he didn't think it was necessary and he knows best since he does this every single day as a traveler doc consultant (very rude about it too). I am annoyed and upset but this is a good reason to switch doctors and warn others NOT to see Dr. Lifshen. He is a joke of a doctor and refuses to research or look into other options for people. In my appointment I asked for the differences in Malaria meds to understand which ones do what and how they would/could affect my body - he had no idea and told me to go do research on them and then call him back when I picked the one I wanted. Are you kidding me? That is why I am paying you as my doctor.
Fast, friendly, and thorough service. Organized and clean facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
