List of Ifepo Sofola's Reviews
My wife recently underwent a septoplasty with Dr. Sofola. She was thrilled with the outcome and enjoyed her consultations with the doctor. She noticed a marked difference as soon as the splints were removed.
Dr. Sofola is kind, efficient, and provides excellent results. I have a condition that causes the cartilage in my nose to sag and create obstructions. It also causes issues with my eustacian tubes. I underwent sinoplasty, turbinate reduction and eustacian tube dilation. Right after surgery I immediately noticed a difference with the ears. Right after the splints came out my breathing was 200% better. I've had this surgery before and my experience and results were so much better with Dr. Sofola.
I had a great experience with Dr Sofola and his staff. His bedside manor is friendly and courteous. The nurses were also friendly and kind. I would recommend him.

I am a new patient of Dr. Sofola's. I came to him with a lump on my neck which turned out to be cancerous. He and his team helped expedite the biopsy and other testing. He then referred me to a surgeon. He has called several times just to check on my condition and I am in the process of recovery. I can't thank Dr. Sofola more for his personal care and attention.
My wife & I could not be more pleased with Dr Sofola’s professionalism, attention to care and detail oriented explanation of the sinus surgery performed on our son. With expert care Prof. Boahene & Dr Sofola diagnosed a rare tumor and expertly took care of our son without any post-op complications. We would highly recommend him without reservation, to take care of any and all reconstructive facial plastic and sinus issues as he has shown more than once that he and his team are experts in their field of Otorhinolaryngology.
Great experience with Dr. Sofola. Had surgery for a deviated septum and I can now breathe much better than before. Made me feel extremely comfortable about the procedure and was honest and spot on about what to expect during the recover afterwards. Would highly recommend.
If I could give zero stars I would. Please listen to the other review by the physician on here they could not be more correct. After waiting 45 minutes past my appointment Dr. Sofola finally showed up with nothing ready. He had to go get a nurse to pull up my x-rays and did not bring up my history which was done at that same facility just a few days before. I had an audiologist appointment prior to his because my hearing is muffled. My results came back that I can hear and it is just "allergy ears", that is great. But when he was looking at it he asked me why I would go if I could hear correctly.... in a tone making it seem that I was dumb. Is that not a doctors job? To check if a patient is okay? My mom and I made a face at each other but figured whatever let's carry on. So he goes on to look at my x-ray and simply says "it is crooked I can do surgery awake or asleep". Mind you the only reason I did not have more questions is because Dr. Quintero, who is a wonderful doctor, walked us through what my x-ray looked like even though it is not his specialization. But it is Dr. Sofolas job to walk us through it and he did not. He tells us he can not operate this year because he has vacation and we did not really care because while we were waiting we read his reviews and decided against him. We thank him for his time and start to get up and this man puts his hands down aggressively and spoke down to us telling us to wait for the nurse in an incredibly rude manner. Now, there are a million ways to ask a patient to wait and it was a simple mistake from us that we thought he was done. But in no world should a doctor speak down to someone. My mother and I were shocked and it showed on our faces. He asked us why the faces and I did not speak because I knew if I did I would explode on him for treating my mom the way he did. But my mom has the patience to tell him that she did not like the way he spoke to us and it was very abrupt. He makes some lame excuse saying he's straight forward but there is a clear difference between being straightforward and being rude and unprofessional. I have had blunt doctors before and they have been the best I have had, no issues. But to talk down to two patients is unbelievable. I am surprised that Dr. Quintero recommended us to him and I am mind blown that Dr. Sofola, that does not deserve the Dr, still has a job. Either he has to read these reviews and change or go through some sort of training again. Will not receive our business again.
Had sinus surgery by Dr Ifepo a few years ago. Zero improvement. Went to another ent specialist and found that Dr Ifepo did NOT repair the deviated septum I have, also created two other issues from the surgery. Wouldn’t recommend him to ANYONE
I found Dr. Sofolanto be attentive and immediately responsive to the chronic condition I came to have examined. I had experienced a real run around with another ENT and experienced exactly the opposite with Dr. Sofola. He was the first Dr. To walk me through my xRays with a thorough explanation. He was hopeful and kind and thorough. I canceled all my work with my other ENT and I will be using Dr. Sofola from now on as I would encourage others to do also. Professional. Competent.kind. Friendly. You would think they were no longer made that way, but they are. You just have to look.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
