Great staff

Dr Margaret remembered that I had asked him not to use mesh in me. So we spoke about that before he put me under. Please don’t use mesh if you don’t absolutely have to. My mom had 4 surgeries due to hers (which was not in her bladder or used for a sling.) I feel I’m a bit of a special case. I don’t do well being put under, after I wake up I’m pretty sick. I ended up staying there for 8 hours instead of two. As far as I am aware I was in and out because, thankfully everything went to plan. Except my extensive vomiting after I woke up. My hernia was near my belly button and I didn’t feel a thing there from the vomiting. They took good care of me and made sure the vomiting stopped before I went home. They gave me two bags of IV fluids. (My insurance is not great) I had to use care credit. I’m very thankful I went here. I waited to write this to make sure nothing crazy happened. I wrote this review 6-22-2021 My surgery was 08-04-2020

Excellent service Dr. Maggart is very professional and friendly I would definitely recommend him highly.

Performed a gallbladder removal on my mother. She had informed him prior to surgery that she had previously under gone a bypass surgery. He never once brought up the possible complications that could arise from the change in her anatomy. When she woke up from surgery she told them that something was very wrong. They fed her pain meds and sent her home Saturday. She was then rushed back in an ambulance that same night after vomiting. Maggert had unsuccessfully closed the bile duct resulting in bile leaking into her stomach. They waited til Sunday night to take her back to put in draining tubes. We were then told he was not equipped to do the repair surgery at all. They let her sit in a bed without any plan of action for over a week. Had we been informed he was not equipped to handle potential complications, we would’ve never had the surgery done at the hospital at all. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and care she’s received. Here we are 2 weeks later and looking at a 4th surgery. They took a perfectly healthy woman and put here health in jeopardy. SICK !!!!!!

Dr. Maggart removed a port and did a great job. He is professional yet very friendly and easy to talk to. His staff is super friendly and helpful. Appointments are pretty much on time. No long waiting periods. Very good experience.

My husband had hernia surgery with Dr.Maggart and we are very satisfied with everything. Doctor was very professional and we loved that he asked to pray with us before his surgery. The nurses at Conroe surgical center were amazing! Very informative and made everything smooth for us. Thank you Dr.Maggart and the nurses at surgery center, you guys rock!

Dr. Maggart is an awesome man! I told him I was a hypochondriac and he let me come back several times after just so he could check me multiple times so I felt comfortable. He says a prayer with you if you wish before your procedure. He’s an amazing Christian surgeon. Will never go anywhere else for my general surgery needs! He has a patient for life! Would recommend him to anyone!

Love this doctor. He explained the procedure from start to finish and prior to the surgery, he offered to say a prayer with my husband & I. He has a patient for life! Unfortunately Dr. Maggart’s nurse (Yolanda) lacks bedside manner and appears to be unfriendly. Yolanda has a dialogue when speaking over the phone as she doesn’t care one bit!
