I went to see Dr. Fackler w/ knee pain, requesting an MRI, suspecting meniscus or ACL tear. He insisted that was not the case and wanted to manage shots for pain. He "would not do an MRI w/o at least several rounds of shots" (ins. requirement). My rheumatologist immediately got the MRI orders managed. I have a meniscus tear, bone-on-bone and a cyst, w/ ligament damage. Went back to show Fackler the MRI and he was very nonchalant. No apology for misdiagnosing the injury. He again insisted on shots for pain. That's a bandaid, and, with an autoimmune disorder w/ synovial fluid inside the knee, you're adding fluid on top of fluid, so it is not going to be helpful. I asked to transfer to another surgeon in the practice and was told that it now requires a release from the prev. surgeon to transfer. After three calls (two from me and 1 from my husband)... absolutely no release and zero response. IMO Fackler is far more helpful to male patients than females. I have 3 female friends who have transferred from his care for the same reasons... the male patients I know say he is on top of their athletic injuries immediately. Funny thing is... we are all tennis and PB athletes & all were sports injuries. Also IMO, but I believe MH-SMC should require a case mgr for these xfer requests. They need to be more aware of patient concerns.

HM communications system is inefficient, causing problems between staff & patients. Doctor didn't even ask how I'm feeling, how I've been doing. Seen him 3 times in 1+ 1/2 years. I will fond some other orthopedists to go to at another company.

I love the care Dr. Fackler and his staff provided medical care, and support before, during and after my knee replacement over 3 years ago. I don't know why it took me so long to write this review but it is well overdue. I refer patients to Dr. Fackler anytime someone talks to me about their knee pain. I feel confident that they will have the same experience as long as they follow through with their therapy.

Dr. Fackler is AMAZING! My first total knee replacement was a breeze, in fact it was such a success I did my other knee 5 months later. I was off my walker at my 2 week post op with no issues at all. The care by Dr Fackler and his team are top notch from beginning to end. GREAT SURGEON!

Dr. Fackler has done both my knees and a reverse shoulder replacement and have had no problems. He has been a great doctor to me and even ordered test for my husband when his Doctor couldn’t find anything. Dr Fackler thru test found cancer in my husband and he was able to get treatment. A very good Doctor and I recommend him to anyone!!!

I believe that Dr. Fackler is a competent surgeon. I took a year of injections to get to know him and become comfortable with his performing my total knee replacement. There were some complications in the hospital that were not anyone's fault. These complications delayed my discharge from the hospital for another 24 hours and Dr. Fackler got all the appropriate support to successfully handle it. Post-surgical support is not his strong suit. I believe I shall have to find a different surgeon to revise Dr. Fackler's work.

Dr. Fackler is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable doctors I have ever had. He has treated my whole family. His office staff is very caring and helpful. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else.

I think Dr. Fackler is the best!!!! He is a miracle worker!! After my two knee injections I can - for the first time in years- actually walk with NO PAIN! I can’t say enough to thank Dr. Fackler!! So so so intelligent and just a perfect doctor! Thank you again for helping me to enjoy my upcoming trip! You are amazing!
