MIchael R. Knox's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Knox was incredibly rude and didn't extend the smallest amount of empathy to me, even though his rushed, condescending attitude reduced me to tears. He kept telling me, "Be quiet and finish the test." I've never been to a doctor who refused to listen to me when I tried to tell him important information. He was only interested in shoving papers at me and snatching them back in record time! It seemed like he disliked his job and that I was a bother to him! I would never believe any diagnosis from this office because the appointment was not completed with respect and kindness.

This doctor is the most disrespectful person my Mom has ever seen. My Mom made the mistake of seeking extra help from Dr.Knox for the seizures she’s been having for over 12 years and had the worst experience with this uncaring, arrogant man. Apparently, others have had the exact same traumatizing experience with this “doctor.” You should never destroy any patients self-confidence or make them feel uncomfortable/ashamed while asking for professional help. Clearly this guy is a dirtbag-plain & simple.

Dr. Knox is condescending and rude. He rushed through explanations and spoke more to my husband than to me. Ashley who was the receptionist at the time of my appointment was lovely, but it cannot make up for someone that rude.

Our experience was very poor. Dr Knox is arrogant, uncaring and very impatient. He seems not to like his job. While I don’t question his knowledge, I feel he’s not the right person to have face-to-face contact with patients. He reduced my wife to tears by treating her as an idiot; snatching papers back when she hesitated over answers, etc. When he told me she had Dementia, he talked as if she wasn’t in the room. A thoroughly unpleasant visit which will not be repeated.

My wife was being evaluated for Dementia. This doctor was arrogant, uncaring and very impatient. He made me leave during the in-depth testing, and when I returned my wife was in tears. The doctor had rushed tests with her and snatched paper back when she hesitated with her answers. He then proceeded to tell me that my wife had serious Dementia and talked about her as if she wasn’t in the room. He obviously missed the class on Empathy during his training. We will not be returning.

Overall a good experience. Atmosphere is comfortable. The staff is friendly. I felt at ease with Dr Knox. Given the nature of my concerns, I was surprised at how at ease i was. He was patient and explained his assessment of my test performance in a way that was easy to understand. I would recommend him.

I’m disappointed in my visit with Dr. Knox. I do my best as an RN to be respectful, gracious, and interested in others. My perception was that he was bored and uninterested due to his lack of eye contact and hurried approach during my testing. He didn’t care to use my husband’s name (just “you”)and made decisions based only on the numbers versus having a conversation with me. I believe this man probably has some expertise but his social skills and lack of interest blind one to that. I am sad to have spent my money here.

Gulf Coast Center for Neurological Disorders, The Woodlands I genuinely appreciate Lauren and Ashley for going above and beyond for patients, very professional, well-organized, with excellent follow up skills. I Highly recommend both Dr. Leder and Dr. Knox, each taking time to go over my diagnosis clearly, as well as my treatment options. B.Rollins 8/9/2021

Arrived early. pleasant arrival, filled out papers .Dr Knox was standing there greeted me and told me the patient before me was running late and apologize for it. Didn't wait long,... Was very pleased with his work and how he responded. I noticed some bad reviews and I did over hear conversations in front office that I didn't like but the back office and him where I checked out was awesome! Thank u Dr. Knox,see u next year.
