List of Performance Medicine At The Woodlands Hospital - The Woodlands's Reviews
I started speech therapy at Performance Medicine with Mrs. Shirley Locke, MS, CCC-SLP with a barely audible Hoarse whisper for a voice. After scheduling by two of the busiest and kindest young ladies in the office, Holly and Nancy, who keep an army of patients humming through their doors seamlessly.I met with Mrs. Locke who not only loves what she does, but does it with love. It is such a distinct pleasure to have found this awesome "Lady." I cannot believe my own transition on the physical but also the psychological, emotional, and spiritual levels I have been personally affected by what has been the most ethical and professional rehabilitation therapy ever experienced.I know already that I will be continuing with her well advised exercises the rest of my life and I even have enough evidence for a well founded hope of singing. On top of this what seemed a shure track to surgery is disappearing from the list of options. I feel obliged to give these Medical Professionals a high five on here. They will never know the extent of my personal gratitude!
This review should have been done along time ago. Unfortunately, it's too much to say about the atmosphere. I never seen so many people who did not value what they do or their jobs. It's really only 1 Physical Therapist there that keeps me going back, but the front desk service is a major deterrent. I see some new faces at the front desk now, hopefully things will get better. However, I want get my hopes up too high, because the people causing the problems are still around. Therefore, I am still paying to mistreated. Chi St. Luke's needs to hire people with excellent people skills instead of bullies. Some of these front desk workers treat you like they are doing you a favor, verses making you feel welcomed. The doctors and my favorite PT are Great. SMH
I had 4 weeks of cardiac rehab at this out patient performance medicine at the woodlands in april 2018. When I visited the front desk precertified my visit with my insurance and told me that my portion of the payment will be zero.Knowing I met my deductible, I continued the exercise sessions and they billed my insurance and got paid for it.Now they billed FACILITY FEE FO $5000 APROXIMATELY, my insurance declined to pay. They sent me a bill for $5000.Ofcourse I am not going to pay and dispute in the small claims court, only option left. (as no one responds in good faith from neither the billing department nor from the facility itself.)How can they penalize the patients even after the visit was precertified, approved. I feel completely cheated as I could have gone to regular rehab instead of going through the hospital out patient rehab and be done with.I would not recommend this facility to anyone as I don't wish any of you get sucked in to this scam.I will update my review after the courts decision.
I had family emergencies durring the rehab period, missed appointments as a result and were not understanding. Then I broke my artificial leg and show up as planned and they dropped me from the program becsuse they said I wasn't committed. Very disappointed in the treatment.
Everyone is always so nice. They have been kind to my Mother and taking good care of her. She is 84 and they have been careful with her and adjusting her exercise depending on her concerns.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
