List of Perri Dermatology's Reviews
I made an appointment to see Dr. Perry because I was concerned about some scalp issues and a mole on my face. I paid the $70 copay and waited to see him. This was my first appointment. He was in the room for a total of 3.5 minutes. Never looked over my body, never asked any questions. He just prescribed me some topical meds and sent me on my way. I felt rushed and honestly disregarded.
As multiple other reviewers stated -- Clearly Dr. Perri does not want new patients nor does his office staff understand good customer service. Would give a 0 if I could -- PLEASE STATE you actually don't see patients unless you have known diagnosed cancer and how can you even diagnose if you pick and chose who you see? I have PPO insurance which means I can self refer to anyone and I strongly DO NOT recommend Dr. Perri.
The staff answering phones is terrible. They sound annoyed that you’re even calling. Then, before you even book, they tell you all the things the doctor can’t do for you and that you may be referred out and oh, it’s a week before they have an opening to evaluate a small skin rash. Doctors offices are becoming useless as more of us have to turn to urgent care and virtual appointments to get treatment. Do better Dr Perri - your office didn’t used to be this bad!
I tried to make an appointment with Dr Perri concerning a full body rash not resolved by steroid treatment from primary care physician. I knew there may be a problem when, after describing my symptoms, the person on the phone said she would need to check to see if Dr Perri would accept me as a patient. He wouldn't. This is without seeing the rash or hearing my history. I have never been turned down by a physician's office before. Their website states that they deal with rashes. I cannot recommend a physician who can dismiss a patient so nonchalantly.
Got turned away & refused to be seen because this dermatologist really on checked moles & things like that! Ironically he was referred to me by 3 different people I know well & not one of them have had him "check moles"! Seems the clerical staff is picking & choosing who THEY want to be seen & not once said her name.
Please make sure this place is in network before showing up your appt!!! I called and scheduled an appt here after making sure to ask if we were in network. They tell me yes so I proceed to schedule because why would I schedule and waste time and money not being in network? This appt was for my boyfriend who had to REQUEST time off and use his PTO. We never got an email nor a phone call confirming this appt. At the time of scheduling I provided TWO phone numbers so not even getting a call is concerning. He shows up early to fill out paperwork (as instructed) and they tell him that they’re out of network. They let him sit there and fill out paperwork before calling him up to tell him. Do yall not verify insurance the day before? Nobody in that front office thought to call the patient and let them know? This is very unprofessional and frustrating.
Dr. Perri and his staff are so nice! They are efficient and very productive. The whole process from check-in to leaving takes 15 minutes. I didn't wait long at all and he was in and out of the medical room in less that 2 minutes. He wore a medical mask and his team was great to verify DoB, reason for visit, fees and data.
Horrible… I will not be going back. My experience in real time is as follows. I’m called back just as a patient is walking into the clinic. I set down and tell the staff I have one area of concern. Just behind my right ear and that I’m here for my yearly checkup. She takes the notes and leaves. Within 10 seconds Dr. Perri enters. He states, ‘So, you have a Basel cell behind your ear’. At this time he hasn’t even looked at my body. He then gets his eye piece and looks over my body. As he is doing this he explains that he is going to take a biopsy of the basil cell behind my ear. He does this. Then leaves the office. He never addresses me by name. I can only hope I’m the right patient. The female staff member then says they will contact me in three weeks with the results. I then go to the front desk and am told to come back in in exactly one year from now. I then assume I’m through and leave. As I enter the waiting room the original patient is headed to a chair to set down. He say, ‘like cattle. In and out I’m guessing’ I respond with, ‘I hope I received my proper treatment. But if not I’m ok with it because I’m definitely not coming back here’. I literally received a full body scan, biopsied for a basil cell that was never looked at and checked in and out all in less than 90 seconds. Yes, I am definitely looking for another dermatologist and I hope you will too.
He’s not really in the room, long enough for me to judge anything about him. He scraped off a freckle on my nose and disappeared within probably about four minutes, but what I would like to say is the people who make or break your business which is the people who answer your phone and greet the customers I give them about a -10 awful. 💯 The absolute worst!!!! And I went there to see if the freckle was cancerous not only when he scraped it off. My nose told me it wouldn’t leave a scar which it has. They didn’t even call me to tell me my results. I had to call them after the time went by that they were supposed to call me to find out. Which it was negative, thank God 🙏🙏 There is nothing I can say good about these people at all!!!!
The only positive remark I can make is I got in quickly. I had a couple of spots that were concerning to me. I had never been to a dermatologist before and skin cancer runs in my family, So I had some concern. The receptionist was not just unprofessional, she was rude, really rude. When the doctor came in, he quickly told me what it was and acted like he wanted to run out of the room as quickly as possible! I was actually asking him questions as he was closing the door walking out. He could not have been less interested. I have a few other areas that I would like to have looked at and will find Another dermatologist but this time I will read the reviews. Looks like I am far from the only one with a similar experience. I would not recommend this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
