List of Sara Gibson's Reviews
I’ve been coming to Dr. Gibson for 3 years now. The first visit went fine. I had to come back because of some abnormal cells that needed to be looked at. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes then in the room undressed for an hour before someone came to tell me she may not make it in. I opted to wait another 10 minutes to which she finally came. It felt really good to being sitting on a table naked for an hour to do tests for some anomalies that have you worried then hear Dr. Gibson through the door say “now who is this? Have I seen her? Ok fine let’s make it quick.” There was no warmth or comparison while she took a chunk out of my cervix then told me to just take some Advil for the pain. When it came time to go back in I opted for her N.P. as she was always nice. Not only was I there for 2hrs but she was short with me, rushed and didn’t listen to my concerns about blood clots that actually caused me to have a stroke 4 days after she changed my birth control. Coincidence? Maybe? The front desk staff was always unfriendly. I do not recommend this practice at all.

Thank you Sarah so much for your excellent service. She's very smart, caring and explain very well. I felt safe in her care. You and your team very professional and i appreciate you.
I've been seeing her for about 6 years and she is amazing. Always very nice and helpful.
My friend went in for her first visit they sad she may or may not be having a miscarriage. This was a Thursday they said they would call her Friday. No call Friday she spent the whole weekend in the Unkown. Calls them Monday morning no response. Has left two voicemails today still no response from them and it’s almost 3pm. Who does that to a pregnant woman? This office clearly doesn’t care at all for it’s patient’s.
My daughter was billed $1,800 dollars from this incompetent and rude OBGYN. She had to go to the ER directly after the appointment since Sara Gibson didn’t take any of her severe pain or medical concerns seriously. Dr. Gibson will not return my daughters calls about her test results and $1,800 bill. She left a message to have her medical records sent to a new OBGYN and they still have not sent them. I myself called a second time to have her medical records sent to a new OBGYN and they lied to me saying they will send them (it’s been 2 weeks.)I just read all of her reviews and the ones saying she incorrectly bills you & she’s extremely unprofessional are 100% true. I believe individuals are being paid to leave good reviews on this page based off my family members horrible experience. I don’t recommend this OBGYN to anyone trying to have a healthy pregnancy and I wonder why this lady became an OBGYN. I would not recommend her to anyone & highly advise finding a competent OBGYN who won’t put your health at risk.
I just delivered my second baby and Dr.Gibson was my doctor and I cannot say enough good things. After a rough experience with a different doctor with my first I was a little nervous to have another inattentive doctor and she was everything but. Each appointment I felt heard and respected. I ended up being induced at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure. She came to my room after 9pm to check in which was great for me because I know that had been a long day and I’m sure she was very ready to be home with her family. She came in the following day several times despite, I’m sure, a busy day in the office. Delivery was amazing. With my first my doctor never stopped by, didn’t deliver, and certainly didn’t check in afterwards so it was really wonderful having her there every step of the way. We were discharged smoothly and all was well. 3 days postpartum my blood pressure spiked again and I was admitted for a couple days. Once again, she was in several times and made me feel like I was priority and her only patient even though I do of course realize she was very busy with others! I just can’t say enough how wonderful my experience was with Dr. Gibson and the entire nursing staff at St. Lukes!
Now that I’ve had a second child with a different doctor, I realize how much I missed out on with my first. Dr. Gibson is not personable. There was never a real relationship developed. Not to mention, she went offsite for lunch and I was crowning for 45 minutes (no medicine because the L&D nurse turned it off) then I heard her on the phone saying, “I have to go bc I’m about to deliver this baby” - terrible. The next day, she came in and giggled when she apologized. Very traumatizing experience. And so grateful I found my new doctor!
I am not the easiest patient. I have had some complications with my previous pregnancies that have made me very anxious. Dr. Gibson has always gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during this pregnancy, even when my questions and requests seemed excessive. My concerns were never dismissed as trivial, and I always leave my appointments feeling like I received the best care. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients.I am extremely picky when it comes to selecting doctors. I believe that if you can't trust your doctor, you aren't going to be willing to take their advice, so that person you are entrusting with your health needs to be selected with care. I am thankful to have found an OB that I know I can fully trust with my baby's and my health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
