I was recently admitted to St Luke’s Hospital-woodlands. Dr Liu was the surgeon assigned to me and I can honestly say I’ve never met a Doctor who was truly more interested in trying to figure out my health problem. After talking to a lot of physicians about my case I was getting nowhere. Dr Liu got involved and I have to say he was the kindest most understanding physician I’ve ever met. He went out of his way to help diagnose my problem, even calling me after hours with suggestions to move forward. He called my wife at home to reassure her when things weren’t looking good. He helped diagnose and treat me and took the time to explain everything in detail so that I would understand it. I could not have ask for a better result! I would highly recommend this physician to anyone!

Dr. Liu saved my life. I had emergency surgery because my colon was about to burst. He took excellent care of me and I am so thankful he was on call. He is such a kind and knowledgeable doctor, I am blessed to be his patient.

Had to have an emergency appendectomy, Dr. Liu was very professional and knowledgeable which was comforting through the first surgery I have had. Additionally he emphasized some nutritional knowledge for digestive health that has my digestive system running better than ever.

Dr Liu is a very good doctor. He literally saved my mom life. Everytime we go back to him for check ups he is always kind and takes his time to answer any questions we have to ask. He’s one of the most kind doctors I have met

Dr Lui is absolutely amazing! I had a pilonidal cyst on my tailbone. Had it lanceted at my local ER, and went to my primary doctor to have wound care done on it. She tried to repack it and I couldn’t handle the pain and her doing it. Not to mention I have extreme anxiety so everything just didn’t mix well. They called Dr Lui for me, and got me in the same day. He was absolutely amazing and very gentle taking care of me! He went at my pace of what I could handle and we came up with different options of what would work. He is very thorough and let’s you ask a million questions and answers them without hesitation. This is a doctor that truly cares about his patients and wants what is best for them. Both his staff and him are amazing and I can’t put into words how great he is and how grateful I am to have had him help and take care of my problem! If you are able to get him as a doctor you will not regret it I can promise you that! Thanks again for everything!

Dr Liu is not only a great surgeon but also a truly great doctor and person. He stayed in touch daily even after surgery and still follows up. He stayed in touch with my wife and made sure she understood all that was happening. He is never to busy to talk to you and he will call you back if you leave a message. I hope you don’nt need surgery but if you do dr liu is your best choice.
