I have a complicated medical history and have been a patient of Dr. Kristy Heatly. It is VERY hard to find a physician, especially in today’s stresses to address me as a person and allows me to have participation in my health care. She knows my history and we have a professional mutual trust. She has been spot on with diagnosis and quickly refers me to competent specialists when needed Dr. Heatly is a great physician for me, as well as my daughter w/grandchildren. My grandchildren are grown and they are her patients. We all (6) appreciate her very much. The staff at Village Medical are efficient but could be a bit friendlier at the front office.

My rating is strictly for Dr Heatly. Not the Houston Methodist care ,. I have been a patient of Dr Heatly’s for 10 years. Always receiving the best care from her and her assistant, Kathy Nelson. The Houston Methodist now has a huge deficit by her absence. Even though their billing services as continually inadequate, I just did not want to gotta stranger who doesn’t care. Apparently HoustonMethodost DOESN’T

I am the patients daughter and caregiver (the patient is age 94). Over all our office experience with Dr. Heatly has been satisfactory. However, our experience in working with her office staff has been unacceptable. It should not take months to obtain home health care for the elderly. The response communication with her staff was almost non-existant and the home health company had to physically drive to her office to obtain the correct orders so that therapy could start.

That woman is absolutely horrible. She misdiagnosed half my family. Specifically my mother. My mother had ecoli in her kidney and had almost lost her life. Heatly stated that my mother was perfectly fine and that the infection was gone. She didn't even test her or give her any medication to ensure the infection was gone. My mother still had the infection and suffered a great amount because Heatly didn't test her in time. She also takes forever to finally see you for your apt, I waited 45 minutes once and she was relaxing in her office. She also rushed appointments and seems very disinterested in the patients care. If you have a chance to find another doctor, do so. Don't waste your time.

Very kind Doc! Spent lots of time with my mom who is elderly. Very thorough. Would recommend highly. And I love Houston Methodist!!

She is a very attentive dr. I believe she is in medicine because she truly cares about her pts. So many Dr's now are here for the business end of the deal not put care. So glad she is back.
