Dr. Hester's warm, cordial manner won my husband's (Ron Russell) heart. The pre-op interaction was clear and concise. The post-op visits were full of information, which helped us to relax and get on with the recovery process. Thank you for having such a doctor on the UT staff.

Everyone was friendly and kind. Knowledgeable and helpful. Had to get a cortisone shot in my knee. Was nervous about the needle. It was painless and over before I knew it. Dr Hester and his Assistant (sorry I don’t remember your name), are awesome!.

Dr. Hester was friendly, knowledgeable and very compassionate. He spent all the time with me that I needed to formulate my plan moving forward. And I love that he is recently trained in the newer anterior approach for hip replacement! His PA, Ben (Reuben) was top notch as well! I am happy to place my care in their competent hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Hester for total hip replacement. He explained the procedure and informed me of what to expect before the surgery. The surgery and recovery went well. I attribute my success to his skills as an orthopedic surgeon. He cares about his patients, and I thank him for taking care of me.

Although the surgery went well , afterwards I stood up to get dressed and couldn’t stand in my left knee and had to be hospitalized until I could walk . The hospital stay was ok but the second day I was there, there was a problem with me being there , I asked for plastic silverware and paper napkins and the next thing I knew I was told that I had to be out by 12 Noon , that my Doctor didn’t give orders for overnight stay my question is how could he when this was not an expected outcome . I don’t know how me not wanting to use dirty silverware warrants my immediate discharge , I will be filing a complaint as Ms grievance.
