Human resources here is a joke!

They did used experimental drugs on me when I was a kid, and refused to treat me as a human being as an adult. They're not in the business to help people. They're only interested in billing you and maintaining appearances.They should be shut down.

This place is absolutely terrible. Anita ray Johnson and Claudia are only there for a paycheck. I’ve called them multiple times crying that I need help and I don’t get anything. Claudia only saw me one time and then cancelled out next 5 visits and I haven’t heard from her since. Anita would only ask if you were having suicidal thought and if you said no she would be like “okay your fine then”. I’m literally begging for help from these people and it’s like they don’t care. I mean I know it’s a nonprofit but if you don’t want to help us that need it please go fine another job.

I have attempted to change my prescription from the ANDREWS CENTER to another pharmacy...they will be mailed and they are much cheaper. These people will argue you down that you didn't request a refill. It takes everything to stay quiet. I am out of medication now because the nurse practitioner will only order 30 days @ a time. LORD knows, if there were somewhere else to go for help , l would. Smith County wants BLACK PEOPLE to do without medication, be unstable and taken to jail. At least l could get my medication. New clients, these people just want a long term job so to retire. They don't care about the patients.

If you want negligent mental health care, this is the place for you.For the past 2 days my partner was trying to get her antidepressant refilled through the doctor provided by this center, she was told they would call to screen her because she was discharged, they never called. She had to call several times while going through withdrawals from the medication. She gave them an address that she’s in the process of moving to this week and the case worker immediately said there was nothing she could do to help her since she moved out of the county. Mind you her address is not officially changed, she’s not even officially moved, it’s not on her license or in any way yet her permanent home address, she’s in the process of moving and once finished planned to transfer these services to the correct county. She is going through withdrawals and now can not get her medication because of NEGLIGENCE.Sitting at the ER with her waiting for emergency meds to help her through this, as I write this. I could not be more angry/ frustrated/ upset with a place that’s supposed to HELP people.They know she’s going through withdrawals and REFUSED to do anything to help. The case worker had the audacity to ask if she needed to crisis hotline knowing full well they can’t help with medication withdrawals.If I could give this place zero stars I would because they obviously employ people that do not care about anyone’s mental health.

Horrible at refilling my daughter meds. Had to take her her to the hospital at least 4 times because they never answer the phone or return calls. I can't go up there during open hours because I have to work.

Tried multiple times to seek help. Even told them I was in crisis. Was sent away each time.

My son had been a client of the Andrews center for years never had a problem until just the other day. My sons case manager (coordinator) falsify my sons medical records causing a big problem! It took me 4 calls to get a manager on the phone after I told them everytime I called I'm not leaving a voicemailFinally the c.e.o of the company gets on the line with me. Either they are going to fix it real quick like or I will be pressing charges along with having that whole company invested by the medical board!

I recently moved to Tyler. For several years, I had seen a therapist every week for my depression and anxiety, for which I take medication. I went to Andrew Center to see if I could get to talk to a counselor, or a new therapist. They said they could help me. I was interviewed over 3 weeks ago. When I called, 3 days ago, to find out what they could do for me, I was told that someone would call me back that day. I called every day for 3 days and told the same thing, without anybody returning my call! My stress level is out of control and they don’t seem to want to tell me that they cannot do anything for me, or if they can, or if they even care. It is no wonder that people get so depressed, or anxious that they hurt themselves, or other people because they get no help to deal with their anxiety and anger! They are not doing what they say they are doing and don’t want to help people like me and it makes me very angry.
