My husband had back surgery here. From the moment we walked in to the next day when we left, all the doctors, nurses and care team were the most caring and nurturing individuals. They made sure my husband was comfortable and had everything he needed. Even the employees in the cafe were genuinely friendly appeared to really enjoy their job! Everything was clean and communication was simple and clear! What a wonderful place to be during your time of need! Great job team!

Everything about this place is awesome! I don’t generally do very many reviews on anything. But I felt like they deserved it! Everyone was very pleasant, professional and courteous. As far as a back surgery could go, I couldn’t ask a better experience. From the doctors and nurses to even the cafeteria. Best food I’ve ever had in a hospital! Definitely a five star facility!!

I've had 2 surgeries in this hospital in the last month. the care I received from Dr's and staff were the BEST. They made me super comfortable and were the sweetest.

Friendly people who seem to know what there doing and do it very professional. I am worker's comp. And everything we handled right the first time. Absolutely no complaints, so far.

They were all very pleasant. But beware if they tell you that knee replacement is tried-true surgery w/ reliable results. None of that was true, and there's more that might be coincidental. It's a dandy coincidence if so. My new-knee left leg came out of surgery 1/2" longer than the untouched "original" right leg, so my hips are now tilted. In the first few days of rehab, I started experiencing vicious back, hip, & leg pain, something like sciatica, on the "original" side. The physical therapist measured my legs & identified the extra 1/2", told me to put spacers in my shoes on the "original" side. Spacers probably help, but now two years later, I still live w/ nasty stabbing pains in in my right lower back, hip joint, and down the inside of my right thigh. One of their own back specialists x-rayed my back and said there's nothing that even hints of the need spinal intervention. He did allow that twisted hips can impinge nerves & cause such stuff. The knee surgeon just sorta' blinked and said something about "I had to put it in straight" and offered me a script for hydrocodone. The after-care phone person could only muster "Bless your heart. What should we do?" My answer: "You tell me. You represent the doctors." Then she never called back. I surely won't go back. In 2 years since the knee replacement, I've heard from 4 different knee replacement patients (different doctors) who experienced the same problems, plus a physical therapist who said, "Yep, we've seen that before." And I dare not put the "new" kneed down on a hard surface. I guess if the new knee works, knee surgeons declare victory. If it throws your hips & back into painful misalignment, I guess that's just too bad. I'm presently seeking an appointment w/ a pain management specialist NOT associated w/ this bunch.

Yes I highly recommend BSWTSJ hospital in Tyler Tx. I had back surgery done on my back on 1/24/2023. The staff on side three are awesome. Carolina and Kim, Holly and Nesha, Werner and Lori are the best. Specially Holly. I wish to thank you all for all the care you did for me. My Doctor, Dr Andy Redmond, and his nurse are the best in the world. Jason and Kevin, I also wish to thank you God bless you all.

They billed me TWO YEARS after my surgery. I had paid everything & they managed to charge me $975 long after my entire cost had been paid.

Dr Austin Harper does work there, I was a patient under his care. He would not call me back, knowing I was in terrible pain. After a week I went and got my medical records. BE CAREFUL there are a lot of pain management doctors in Tyler. I have changed to a Doctor who acts professional.

Every appointment ai have had at this facility has been simply amazing! Dr. Nallbach and his staff are truly the best! Everyone has such good bedside manner. The hospital was clean and the food was surprisingly delicious! Highly recommend the Dr and this facility!
