Early 2016, Dr. Prater prescribed a new contact lens that improved the deficiency in one eye, but he did nothing to improve the deficiency in the other eye. A year later, when the deficiency in the other eye was mentioned, the problem again went untreated. Within a matter of months, another optometrist was selected and a new pair of contacts prescribed; and now vision is 20/20.

I've been a patient of Dr. Prater's for over ten years. He is always thorough, professional, kind and on time! As a person who is very myopic I appreciate his willingness to help me explore options in contact lenses that have had a large impact on my comfort. I would highly recommend him for any one needing an optometrist.

I did not feel confident with Dr. Prayer at all. I have had several problems with my eyes so when we moved here from Louisiana, I thought this practice would be great. They gave me an appointment with an optometrist rather than an ophthalmologist. I was not pleased with that. Because of my lupus medication, etc. my eyes have to be checked very closely. When I met Dr Prater and he did the exam, I left thinking I need to find a real doctor. Definitely won't be going back.
