List of Garden Estates Of Tyler's Reviews
Garden Estates always has something entertaining going on for the residents. The team they have in place is amazing and work together for the residents!!!
I enjoy seeing the unique events that have taken place lately, they make it truly feel homely. Very family oriented.
was visiting and the staff was so helpful and really showed love to there resident. Liz was really sweet and nice.
lovely property, great location for shopping and close to medical facilities, awesome fun bus driver who has been at GE for many years, fun activities, events and parties often including family members, wonderful caregivers-WONDERFUL. Clean, Safe and Cared for, I'm so glad Mom loves it. She's going on 3 years in her nest!
What a Great place to Live! My mother lives in independent living and has enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are so helpful, friendly, and courteous. My mom enjoys gardening, art, and dancing. She also loves the full size kitchen in her apartment because she loves to bake and cook. She has meet new friends here and consider this her home.
Meals were NOT appropriate for diabetics, cardiac patients, or hypertension (low salt diets). The food quality seems to be a running joke between many of the residents. As a visitor, visiting my mother-in-law, I overheard residents discuss things like: "What was that brown stuff last evening?", "Whatever that supper was last night, it was so salty I couldn't eat it.", "my salad was more like sludge", and "I couldn't maintain my blood sugar eating that food, so my health has declined rapidly since I moved here." I am pretty sure that senior living facilities are required by the state to provide meals that meet senior's dietary needs. The owner's couldn't retain reliable staff, and the decent staff members who tried to recommend or implement improvements were let go by corporate management for making waves. I must say that it does not appear that the local staff is to blame for the ongoing issues, because everyone I met was passionate about their job, they just didn't get the support or funds that they needed from corporate to implement real change. Corporate management needs to treat this place like their mother lived there; it has potential to be a nice facility. The building has issues that were just covered up with vinyl siding and caulk, in spite of water leaks, water penetration, window frames coming lose from the structure, old noisy HVAC units that barely function, mold & mildew, dripping pipes inside the walls, etc., the county health department should take a serious look at this property! After six months of empty promises about "major renovations" that turned out to be minor cosmetic improvements; lack of improved meal quality or food that would be appropriate for senior diets/ meet the needs of diabetics, and an apparent corporate distain for their clients, my mother-in-law sought other accommodations; it's a shame that her health has declined so much in the six months that she stayed at Garden Estates of Tyler waiting for them to make good on their promises!I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone at this time.
We decided at the beginning of last year that it was time for mom to go into a community. Since she has been at Garden Estates, she has been very happy. I was able to get some relief knowing that my mom is being taken care of 24/7 and I don't have to worry about her anymore. The staff is taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe during COVID. We couldn't have picked a better place for mom.
My grandmother has lived at Garden Estates for about 6 months now. She has been very happy here and has expressed how much she enjoys the Med-aids. The staff is fantastic and has taken great care of her!
Beautiful community and caring team members. The team supports the quality of life to all of the residents.
My grandfather stayed here for a few years on the independent side. Every time I visited the building was well kept, and everyone was happy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
