J. Stuart Crutchfield's Online Review Report Card

Exceptional! I'm not big on doing reviews but this literally cannot go unsaid. Finding a competent neurosurgeon is kind of a big deal. I researched and read reviews about this doctor and felt he would be worth seeing. Im a registered nurse and have dealt with many doctors. Let me just say I've never been in the company of a more compassionate and capable physician. He did a thorough history and physical and wrote down everything I said. He engaged in conversation and asked questions to get pertinent information. He was respectful with his staff. The patients I saw come and go from there while I was there were smiling and laughing and appeared very satisfied with their encounter. He picked up on things that other doctors had missed. He explained everything and took time to answer all my questions. All I can say is WOW! Keep up the amazingl work Dr Crutchfield and raise the standard for other doctors to accel in the same manner.

This "Kid", Dr. Stu Crutchfield saved my life some 26 years ago, in a time when my outlook was VERY questionable, he made the decision to drain the pressure from my skull and he comforted my wife that his decision was the best route to recovery. This surgeon is well prepared to answer all your questions, he will be honest and courteous, and I really liked how he explained all about my condition, all went well for me, and I am 1 year and a few months after surgery, and I'm pretty good, an amazing surgeon with experience

I am so thankful for Dr. Crutchfield and his team. I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation 20 years ago. Dr Crutchfield operated on me in 2003 and I can honestly say gave me my life back. I even get compliments on how nice my scar looks. I call that scar my life line! I recommend him every chance I get.

Dr Crutchfield repaired a disk in my back 3 years ago, and went above and beyond in every aspect. Update 6 yrs after surgery and still going strong. Outstanding work

Refused to take me as a patient because I had been operated on in another area by another doctor who had since retired and in another city. He's apparently not competent enough and does not have enough self esteem to operate on anyone that has been under the knife before. This includes surgeons in the same building. I don't know any other occupation that will refuse to do any type of work behind someone else. He should feel grateful for people to want to trust that he can get the job done properly. I guess he still sees his pediatrician since surely he doesn't let another doctor take over his own care. What will he do when they retire or die? I guess he will just sit in agony since believes no doctors should follow in other doctors foot steps. I don't know how your a neuro spinal surgeon when you have no spine yourself.

Dr Crutchfield and his team offer the best in customer service, professionalism and medical care I have ever encountered. I have been an RN for 35 years in the DFW area and could not recommend a better neurosurgeon anywhere. From his compassionate approach to his excellence as a neurosurgeon, he is simply the best. His team in office and at the surgery center are truly outstanding. This team of folks turned a frightening emergency into a blessing. You will not regret your decision to use this doctor and his team.

Dr. Cruchfield and his staff are amazing. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He has a personal touch you don't see much anymore. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!

Dr. Crutchfield assisted in my surgery. LOL, although I don't remember Dr. Crutchfield, since I was asleep, I want him to know that Kathy of his billing department is exceptional. She worked with us on payment and was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for your kindness!

Dr Crutchfield is an amazing man and his staff are the greatest ladies to deal with I love how dr crutchfield prays with you before surgery and after I truly believe without his help I would not be able to walk today i am 35 years old he has done 3 back surgeries on me and even tho I'm still in pain i know it would be much worse without the help he has given me thank you all for your help and understanding I know im not the easiest to deal with and my case is a little diff than most sincerely a grateful patient David Kyle Dotson may God Bless You All
