Jordan Spindle's Online Review Report Card

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Spindle and his staff. I went in for a cosmetic consult for Blepharoplasty, because I didn’t like my eye lids. I had a lot of excess skin and fat. Dr. Spindle is a great doctor he was very understanding of my needs and very informative. He cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable. The staff was amazing very helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth surgery, and follow-up. I was very pleased with my outcome, I had minimal pain and after a few weeks I was picture perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Spindle to anyone looking for a Oculoplastic Surgeon.

I’m so sorry for the extremely low/poor rating but Dr. Spindle simply missed this one. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and went through the Radioactive Iodine treatment and all the blood tests to determine the correct amount of Synthroid to be taken. I was also experiencing some complications with my vision so to rule out this being a result of Graves’ disease we made appointment with Dr. Spindle that was scheduled for 2 months later. His office didn’t care how my vision had deteriorated it was that appointment or none. He is the only specialist in the East Texas area and they knew it. The first appointment went I guess ok. The Dr didn’t display an eagerness to attack my vision problems. He discussed TED and felt this was my problem. He talked about surgery which meant removing parts of my eye socket or an extremely expensive IV type medication. I just didn’t get the feeling he was sure what to do. He placed me on extremely high doses of Prednisone (60mg) to be tapered down by 10mg every week. At the end of this trial of Prednisone I returned to visit with Dr. Spindle where he wanted to extend the Prednisone even strengthening my original thoughts. I need to seek help with this elsewhere. Dr. Spindle acted as if he had no idea who I was or what I was there for. We did find help and the Correct Diagnosis had NOTHING to do with TED. On a the following Friday my diagnosis was made and the following Monday surgery was successfully performed for my Detached Retina. Luckily my vision is returning but I believe I could have been months ahead had the correct diagnosis been made previously. I was extremely disappointed in Dr. Spindle and his inability to determine my problem. I felt he didn’t have any idea what my diagnosis was it was so obvious by the way he kept avoiding my vision loss issues. More Prednisone, more Tests, never a positive feeling at all. He just keep reverting back to the time frame since my problems began when the majority of that time was waiting on an appointment with him. Once again, I’m sorry to say - NO RECOMMENDATIONS HERE. I had minor surgery because my lower eyelid would sometimes invert causing scant amounts of matter to cloud my vision. While the inversion was corrected, I was left with a bag under my eye that wasn't there before the surgery as evidenced by before & after photos. I would have never had this procedure had I known I would be left with a permanent bag under my eye. Not a good trade off for a bit of matter in my eye. Unless you are to the point of having damage to your eye I would not have this done. I would have at the very least put this off for years since it was not causing damage to my eye at this point. Beware.

This place is like no other than I have ever been to in the medical field. My experience was TOP NOTCH. Every person that works there are the nicest I have ever been around. Kind caring loving and takes time with you in every way. They neaver make you feel like they are rushing you in anyway. Take time to answer any and all your questions. Jut not enough words to describe my experience. Oh and Dr.Spindle is AWESOME

Dr. Spindle is a great doctor. He took time explaining the Blepharoplasty surgery to me and was very patient to answer all my questions. He has a pleasant personality and is very kind and caring. I would recommend anyone to him. Now, after my surgery, I can see to read books, I have my peripheral vision back, and have my eye lashes back again. I am so pleased with the results of Dr. Spindle’s work. I had no problems, his surgery work is with a smooth hand, straight lined incision, and very tiny stitches, which allowed me to heal with no show of a scar. Go see Dr. Spindle, you will be glad you did.

Dr. Spindle and his team were awesome! I didn't realize what I wasn't seeing until Dr. Spindle did my surgery. He was knowledgeable, kind, caring and was able to show me a whole new world!! I would highly recommend Dr. Spindle to my family and friends. My forehead appreciates him also because now I don't have to raise my forehead to open my eyes! Thank you for allowing me to see again, Dr. Spindle! ...

After 4 months I still cannot close my eyelid, leaving me with dry painful eye.

Drooping eye lids was affecting my night driving. The entire process went well and I’m pleased with results

I was very worried about having Botox and filler placed in my face. I didn’t want anything to not look natural. I just wanted a softer younger appearance. Dr. Spindle took his time along with his excellent staff to explain and to make sure I was very satisfied. I will definitely be going back and recommend him and his clinic!

Dr. Spindle was great, very professional and understanding. I recommend this place with my 5 stars, they deserve it.
